“A great place to stay”
The Magnolia is a great place to stay and the staff can't do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice of hot & cold food, something for everyone. I'd definately stay here again if I go to Houston.
“Magnolia is very nice”
I thought the service and condition of the hotel was excellent. The location is nice too. It's within walking distance of any part of downtown, even the conference centers. This is a great little place (not that little), which I wouldn't have discovered if I wasn't open to exploring. I recommend it and will try it at their other locations.
“Great”
I was very surprised when I walked into the lobby and saw how beautiful the hotel was. For the great price I paid for my room I did not expect such an elegant hotel. The rooms were modern, very clean, and elegant. I really didn't want to leave.
“Great location”
Went down to see the Astros play and the hotel was just a few blocks from stadium. Hotel had a happy hour with 2 free drinks and is also is walking distance of all the bars and clubs in downtown Hou.
“Awesome Hotel!”
This is a beautiful hotel, would definitely go back. Enjoyed the free hot breakfast, cookies and milk, and rooftop pool. Great exercise room as well.
“Was a nice place to stay!”
My wife and I were in town for a baseball game and stayed overnight. The hotel was nice and clean. The only con is the Valet Parking wasn't included in the room. It was $24 extra and that was the only parking they had. Other than that, it was superb!
“Exceptional Hotel”
First visit to a Magnolia Hotel was so impressed with All the servises that went to Dallas and stayed in the Magnolia there. This hotel has everything a traveller could want. Definately recommended.
“A beautiful hotel”
The Magnolia Hotel is a beautiful hotel, polite and attentive staff and great facilities. Happy hour drinks were a bonus. Breakfast was OK and cookies were a nice touch. Like most hotels the food and drinks in the bar and minibar were way overpriced. We were in Houston for a sporting event and the location was perfect for the local stadiums (Minute Maid and Toyota) Ladies beware - there are hardly any shops in this part of Houston so be prepared to plan in a trip to the Gallaria (probably need a day to get there and back and shop) Local transport is cheap and reliable - metro tram and bus stations are really close to the hotel. Overall a great trip - just a shame we couldn't spend more time enjoying the hotels facilities
“Great place!!!”
What a treat to check in after a very long tiring day of travel. After being greeted by a courteous and friendly staff, I checked into the spacious and extremely comfortable room with many pleasing amenities. The large and plush bed and quiet surroundings was just what I needed for a very well deserved sleep
