“A hotel within limited budget”
The hotel is nice for limited budget requirement. The standard room is small but good for two people with limited luggage (1 large luggage is ok). If you carry a lot of luggages, you better select larger room. The hotel is close to the MRT Causeway Bay station's exit A with a 5-minute walk. There is a local market by the hotel which is interesting for tourist.
“Convenient”
Clean room, outstanding customer service. The rooms were small, but that was to be expected and a strange thing was there is a big window joining the shower to the bed with no curtain so if you have a company, no room for the shy. The view is breathtaking and is a lovely walk through the markets to get to subway/shops. Not the most glamourous entrance being just a single door on a back alley, you have to get a lift to level 3 foyer and then get another lift to room.Overall I would recommend
“Nice & tiny room”
Nice & clean hotel but it has very tiny rooms in good location. Within 2 minutes walk, you find lots of restaurants, shopping, transportation. Even it's so small(room), I don't mind to come back next time.
“Very Small room, suitable for day trip at the most”
Initially as you arrive there is a sense that you may have just got a really nice hotel for really cheap,,,,then you go in and find out that although acceptable, you get what you pay for. Just the bed. It was 30% cheaper than the other local hotels, but the room had no wardrobe so suits and shirts had to be hung on the back of the door. The ensuite is small but acceptable. There is hardly any more space in the room outside of the double bed. I barely managed to lie my suitcase down next to the bed, without the door being blocked from fully opened. If you are coming for one day, this place is good for the money. If not, check out Charter House as its special rates match this. If you are after a desk, or a wardrobe of any size this is not the place for you.
“Stinky Smokers”
Hotel was OK, but I booked a no smoking room, which it was. BUT, the people in the room next door were smoking, and some of the stench got into my room. The hotel had provided ashtrays in the no smoking rooms, mine included. STUPID! Also, they shoudl hold a US $100 or more deposit, and keep it if people smoke in non smoking rooms.
“A real budget hotel. Pay more for a better hotel”
This hotel is a bargain hotel for good location and cleanliness. However, the room is very small. Only fit two single beds and no place for luggage; no closets at all. I don't understand why they chose tinted mirror and the room is so dark. Unable to look at yourself clearly in front of the mirror. For ladies who need to do make up, it is a nightmare. When I booked this package through expedia, it is indicated breakfast is included. I was disappointed when I went there for breakfast, they have to charge HK$66. What a ripped off.
“Close location to "time square" in Hong Kong.”
Staff service especially with the front desk needs much more improvements.
“best western hongkong”
the good thing about this hotel is the location, specially if u r doing some business in downtown of HongKong. It also close to major shopping area and u can easy find restrants close by. The hotel room is small for two people, well most hotel in this price range is small.
“Any Port in a Storm”
Hong Kong is a busy hub and hotels are frequently booked out a long way ahead. There was a huge commercial lighting fair on in HK which had brought in large numbers of visitors making Hotel accomodation even tighter. The Best Western is situated in a short side street only 2 blocks from the vast Times Square Retail centre and the MTR underground. You enter a downstairs entrance and take a lift to the third floor where the reception area is situated. After booking in you take another lift to your designated floor. Our room was tiny. it contained a Queen sized bed and had only about 2 feet on either side and perhaps 3 feet from the end of the bed to that wall. There was absolutely no wardrobe or draw space. We had to put our suitcases in that 2 feet space between the bed and side walls. The bathroom was small, but functional and clean. The breakfeasts were fine. The staff were great. Helpful, courteous and spoke good English. We constantly overheard the receptionists at the front desk answering phones and explaining to prospective customers that the hotel was fully booked. My only real complaint was the size of the room. I realise Real Eatate is fearfully expensive in Hong Kong and as in Japan Hotel rooms are often small. Although all you need a room for is to sleep, I would try other hotels first before rebooking. However it gave us somewhere quiet to sleep and that was the most important thing.
“Teacher”
Good price, but the room was like staying in a box. Very Very small!! No room to seat in chair or walk in room. No Place to hang your clothes
