"My husband and I had a great stay at Casita Cole from Feb1-April 5/2024 . Zindis was good to work with . Our house manager , Edgar is the greatest ! Any little issue we had he was right on it . "As others have said, it's not a five-star resort. We had misgivings when we arrived. But, we ended up liking the house better than a hotel. My friend and I stayed in the smaller two bedroom house. "Bret and his crew were awesome people, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property is wonderful, we hiked it almost everyday following the many trails and finding plateaus with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sitting on the patio having a favourite beverage, we listened to howler monkeys, saw white faced monkeys, and many species of birds including parrots and toucans. "Wonderful, quiet, very well built and well thought through home in the jungle. Lots of animals to listen to and enjoy. The tub is wonderful after a long day surfing or exploring the jungle. Great wifi. Had many a video meeting and not one issue. Vince is easy to get in contact with and once you're checked in there's very little need to contact him. We will be back for sure."

"We loved this house. It has a gorgeous view. We had access to a washer. There is a clothes line outside to dry the clothes. The clothes dried quickly as long as it didn’t rain. The air conditioning worked great upstairs. Like most Costa Rica rentals the air conditioning is just in the bedroom. Playa Conchal is our favorite beach. Not enough room to sleep 3 people comfortably, but perfect for a couple."

During a pandemic I thought cleanliness should be a given, but the interior of the property was dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned at all, despite the 'cleaning fee' that I paid.
