“VERY CLEAN AND LOTS OF ROOM”
Hotel was very clean, service was excellent, and if you book your room on the internet you can get some very good rates
“GP Sandman downtown”
Overall we had a decent enough stay, check in was slow as only one person was working and we ended up in a lineup. We had toilet problems and because they were short staffed, I offered to try and deal with it myself - took me 2 trips to the front desk just to get a plunger! I couldn't fix the problem so we requested and were given another room. The front desk person was over whelmed as some other guests were being very demanding at the same time we were trying to deal with our toilet issues - so the room transfer took longer than it should have, they really did need more people on staff that night, the hotel was nearly full and had a Christmas party going on in one of the Conference rooms, so lots of activity for one desk clerk to handle. I would stay again as the room and beds were comfortable, the location was convenient. Ddin't get to use the pool or fitness room, but they both looked very inviting and clean. The Earl's (shares the parking lot) had a phenomenal dinner and the Denny's in the hotel had a great breakfast the morning we checked out. However, if we had similar room issues and found the hotel short staffed again on our next visit, it would be our last.
“Good value for the dollar”
Very friendly and helpful front desk gal. Renovations taking place but did not disturb us as they waited until a reeasonable time on the Sunday morning to begin carpet replacement in the hallway outside our room.
“Preferred Hotel in town for me”
Hotel has all the ammenities a Denny's, a Pub, Weight room with pool and hot tub. Down town location etc.
“Comfort at a Good Price”
Hotel prices in and around Grande Prairie have easily jumped over 25% during 2007/08. No more small town prices :-( It is nice to know though that you can still find some basic comforts at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and actually have a service ethic... a rare commodity. Rooms are notlarge, but are clean..the bed was very good. If you are an avid swimmer the tiny pool will disappoint... but it is fine to wet your toes... We will be back.
“The hotel didn't have my expedia booking - tried to charge me again”
Hotel room was fine, however they said they didn't have my Expedia reservation. So they didn't have a room booked for me and they tried to charge me again for my room even though Expedia had already charged my credit card. Good thing I had taken my printed confirmation from Expedia or I would have had to pay twice for same room!!!
“Very nice hotel for business or pleasure stay”
Comfortable room, decent working environment (easy, fast wired internet connection). Friendly front desk & cleaning staff. Full 'kitchenette' featuring microwave, fridge, dishes, etc.
“Good For Business”
Good Location in Grand Prarie but the hotel is a little dated.
“Hot!”
Overall, the hotel is nice, but the room was sweltering. The so called air conditioner provided no relief. It would probably be a great hotel anytime the outside temp. is below 20 C.

the hotel had a denny's attached, and earls in the parking lot. a short walk took you to a small mall with liqor store
