The rooms are definitely the size that the pictures give the impression of. Our city view was a window that looked out to a metal wall barrier a foot away, so no view. The room was poorly laid out and a bit inconvenient. And the bathroom door was cute but did not give any real privacy. For the price($300) I expected more. We stay at the Homewood suites or the residence inn for cheaper and their rooms are definitely better than these.

Bartender Wesley was fantastic. His kindness and friendliness made us feel like were are friends and family. We felt very at home at the City Flats Hotel. The bed was very cozy. We would happily stay again.

Was very quiet and convenient to downtown festivities, restaurants, etc. would not book here if you are going to be in the room for more than sleeping. Staff was not supportive and even offered for us to check out after simply asking if there were any other rooms available due to our room having a view of 3 brick walls. Room felt extremely small, wasted space, no view. Would check with staff before booking to see where your room is.

We loved the location. But we got our room went and had something to eat and when we returned our key didnt work, after 3 tries up and down the elevator, the desk help got it to work. No big deal but the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the room was for two but only one towel.

Small rooms. Fine finish details were lacking. IE shelves crooked and leaning tonthe point shampoo bottle wont stay withoht falling off. For the price i had expected more. It was clean and the staff was nice. I can say that for certain.

The beds were advertised as queens but were fulls... when we asked for daily housekeeping we were denied that and told all they could do was take out garbage & provide 2 extra towels... they didnt take out the garbage but we did get the 2 towels (making our total 4 for our 4 person rental...)

Comforter wasn’t washed. Shower flooded all over bathroom floor. Took over an hour to get towels. No carpet in room anywhere so during winter water tracked everywhere in room. No hanger closet or dresser. Entire room was the size of a closet.

There was no room service, the front desk didn’t want to clean our room. We had to ask for them to clean. They didn’t hardly have any towels available. They offered no usual hotel accommodations like even lunch snacks or even bottled water. I was heavily disappointed at the level of service and basic customer service at this place.

We were moved to a different room because the tv didn’t have a signal. The new room the tv couldn’t change channels. The new room had broken floor tiles. It was late when we checked in and later when we switched rooms. We reported the latest issue in the morning. When asking for a refund 6 hours later was told no (when I called) that since it was booked through Expedia they can’t issue a refund! Do yourself a favor and stay at one of 30 other hotels in GR that are just as nice but everything works in their rooms! Worst one night getaway for the wife and I ever! They truly do not care about their customers!!!

Upon arrival the staff person was not in the least bit friendly. In fact she did not even greet us. She closed her book went to the computer and waited for us to tell her our name. We were not given any information regarding the hotel other than where to find the elevator to our room. The room itself was okay but the bathroom was not at all clean. Mildew in the shower grout and years worth of dust on the woodwork. In addition we realized we were only left one bath towel for two guests and had to request another. We have stayed at this location many time years before but the property has definitely declined and the staff has as well.

The instructions for parking were unclear and confusing and we were billed three times for the room and had a difficult time getting our charges reversed. Parking garage for the area is also a problem because if you stay overnight you get charged for 36 hrs, even though our stay was less than 24 hours

It’s a unique property to be sure. Utilitarian would be the word to describe the hotel. There’s nothing warm, cozy or comfortable anywhere - furniture is hard, floors are hard, lines on the decor are severe and hard. If you like super modern and a simple, straight lined aesthetic, this is your place. If plush, comfortable and classic are more of your thing, go somewhere else.

I wanted to love this hotel but it fell short. Location is AMAZING! Parking structure right behind the hotel. I only picked this hotel for location and hotel bar. The attendant stated the bar would close at 1045, although online states 11. We arrived back at 930PM, and it was closed. There was only one towel in our room and only decaf coffee. Otherwise, great location and an average hotel in a downtown area.

This hotel was like staying in a dorm room . No carpet and minimal amenities . Tile was coming off floor and we had a view of a fire escape . The revolving door was locked and had to squeeze the luggage cart into a small door . For the price I expected more . I could've stayed at the JW fir $50 more ... so disappointed boutique hotels are usually so nice .

Amazingly comfortable beds! Only one complaint non of the light switches really worked you have to turn on one to make another one work like hot potato with light switches couldn't turn the bathroom light on without turning the overhead lights on too inconvenient in the middle of the night.

Great hotel rooms in a convenient, walkable location. We reserved a king with extra space and the room was very comfortable. High ceilings, big windows, comfy mattress. Lots of restaurants and bars walkable from hotel. Parking is not included, but there is a public parking ramp half a block from the hotel.
