Moosey Ridge amazing Lake Superior view from Ridge Rd w/ 2 car heated garage

Nestled high on the ridge overlooking the bay and Lake Superior, this completely remodeled house has real hickory hardwood floors throughout. It has a new cabin feel, all shiplap & tongue and groove walls and ceiling. All new high-end, stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, stove and washer/dryer), quartz counter tops, hammered cooper kitchen sink, and leather furniture, including a pull-out sofa (queen). We offer a selection of K cups for the Keurig or if you enjoy drip coffee we do have a regular coffee maker as well. There are three smart TVs, total with amazon/netflix available. One TV in the King bedroom, one in the main living room and one in the kids living area (that has the pull-out sofa). For as beautiful as this house is inside, the outdoor space is more amazing. The kitchen, living room and queen bedroom has an amazing view of Lake Superior. Sit on the porch swing and sip coffee or wine all day looking at the beautiful blue hues of the water. Play corn-hole (game provided to use) in the side yard or bring your own outdoor games for the whole family. The heated garage has an additional refrigerator and outdoor grill all for guest use. Toward the back of the house enjoy fire in the firepit- we supply all the firewood you need. There are 3 heat sources for this house. One is 100% off-grid meaning it will work if the case of a power outage.

Very nice place to be!
Cabin has everything you could want for being up north. The owners are very nice and welcoming people willing to lend a hand if needed. Location is perfect distance from town and in the wilderness. Highly recommend!

Our first trip to see The Pictured Rocks, turned out to more dramatic than expected. We had booked a rental through Lake Superior Rentals (Great Escape House) for a 2 night stay with our dogs. 2 days ahead of arriving, I contacted their owner and no response. Had paid in advance and began to panic since it was a busy weekend in Grand Marais. No vacancies for pet friendly rentals. Called, emailed and messengered owner and was completely ghosted. She’s still in business though… just a jerk. So happy that I was able to get in touch with Chet about his dog friendly property. He rallied and got the place cleaned and ready for us with short notice. The pictures don’t do the place justice! The view is amazing and lots of space for the dogs to frolic! Clean, modern and beautiful hardwood flooring. He even set up firewood for a bonfire. Beyond that, they have a sweet swing and outdoor dining table that looked out to Lake Superior. Great people, great place and Grand Marais is a sweet little town. I wish we had time to stay longer to do the rock hunting tour with them. But it’s an excuse to go back!

This house was perfect for our family of four. We stayed one night while doing the Lake Superior Circle Tour. Very clean. Nice washer and dryer. Quiet location. Host was nice and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Gem of Grand Marais
First of all, the hosts, Chet & Molly were fantastic....great communication and helpful with our sightseeing! The cabin is adorable with all the amenities one would need. It is a couple blocks off the main drag, so we loved the peace and quiet. Enjoyed having my morning coffee on the wooden swing looking out at Lake Superior, was quite the view!

Wonderful visit
The property has a beautiful view down the hillside to Lake Superior. The owners were able to give us a scheduled at the last minute Yooperlite tour which will likely be the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend.

The home is beautifully remodeled. The beds are super comfy. The location is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from downtown Grand Marais. The hosts were very hospitable. Great long weekend!
