Had to chsnge room on arrival as there were bedbugs on the bed, new room wasnt cleaned properly had to get the cleamers to clean the room twice beofre it was actually cleaned to a normal standard. Hotel is dateed and tired, staff were friendly and helpful.

At best it is a 3-star hotel, Room size and cleanliness are acceptable. The biggest letdown is the services that they can offer as standard, and it comes down to a single table tennis table for which you can obtain rackets by paying a deposit. Otherwise, everything else is extra and it does not matter if it is all-inclusive or not. I think the Thallaso bit is oversold or missold at best on the actual Expedia page, as it is not included and it is not worth 35£ for 2 hrs. Some of the council-run leisure centers have better facilities and they need to reconsider the decision on charging for that section of the stay. The heated Pool at the 9th floor is really small and it is again a paid facility, I really struggle to understand the rating on Expedia and it is worth reconsidering.

Had a wonderful stay at Gloria Palace San Augustin. We were staying on an all inclusive package which was incredibly good value for money. The food was great quality with so much choice. The hotel itself has great facilities and the staff are lovely and very helpful. The spa was a real highlight.

Ideal for families as there is a lot of entertainment/activities for the children. Parking at the hotel itself is near impossible so we parked off the main road throughout our stay.

Hotel genial
Nos ha gustado mucho el hotel. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, el personal muy amable (tanto recepción como limpieza). Además hay animación durante todo el día. La única pega es que fata picoteo durante el día con el todo incluido: aceitunas, papas, etc.

Good restaurants in the shopping centre nearby if you didn't want to eat in the hotel all inclusive. The included breakfast was a bonus and set you up for the day and the rooftop bar restaurant and sun lounging area is a must. Takeaway wasn't allowed from the hotel snack bar as the hotel preferred you to pay for room service which was a shame.

Besökte hotellet i en vecka. Inför resan tog jag kontakt x flera via mail för transfer men det var svårt att få svar. Så när vi landat visste vi inte om transfern skulle komma. Det visade sig att den var där men fick aldrig bekräftelse via mail. För att ta sig till och från hotellet går även flygbussar samt taxi, taxin kostar ungefär lika mycket som en transfer. Rummen var rena och välstädade, lagom mjuk säng så man sov gott. Varje kväll hade de underhållning, olika som sjöng samt uppträdde. Dock var ljudet ganska högt till sent på kvällen vid 23-00, även om dörren till balkongen var stängd. Frukostbuffén var fantastisk med stort utbud av allt du kan tänka dig; färsk frukt, fil/yoghurt, flingor, bröd, skarketurier, ostar, pannkakor, omelett som de gör på stekbord med det du vill ha i, toast på stekbord, juice och kaffe, m.m. För lunch och middag skulle jag rekommendera att gå ner till centrum som ligger några hundra meter ner för en backe, god mat på flertalet av resturangerna samt mycket bättre priser än hotellets restauranger. Poolen vid hotellet var ren och lite kall, hade gärna fått vara några grader varmare, men går bra att bada i. Finns även en fin barnpool med rutschkanor, även den ren och fin. Närmaste stranden ligger strax nedanför centrum, vinden ligger in mot stranden så blåsigt men fin strand, finns att man kan få solstol som är vindskyddad mot avgift om man vill, många lägger ner sina handukar gratis vid sidan. Härliga vågor blir det från havet när det blåser in.

Clean, comfortable San Augustin hotel resort
Very nice hotel. Clean, modern and well maintained. Very friendly staff and helpful. Good facilities, very good breakfast options. Good location, close to beaches and transport options to other parts of island. The spa and thalassotherapy excellent. Recommended if looking for a quieter location but close enough to busier spots.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The family room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel entertainment programme was pretty loud until 11:30pm (even in the room with windows closed).
