“Very Relaxing”
Every room faces the ocean. Pool was unheated (April) and therefore unused (except by blue-lipped children). Very family-friendly. Poolside restaurant was reasonably-priced.
“Can't wait to go back”
Lovely hotel. Surrounding area was very peaceful. Service was good. staff were very friendly and helpful.
“Wonderful time”
This was a lovely holiday, except for the cockroaches ! Apparently, Gran Canaria is rife with them, but this was omitted from any of the reviews that we had read. As we were on the ground floor, we were unable to open our patio doors, at times this was a bit claustrophobic. I think that if we had a room on the first floor or above, this would not have been a problem. Otherwise, this hotel was the perfect holiday for us and i would definiately stay there again.
“Really Great hotel”
We were really happy with this hotel, we booked a penthouse which was fantastic, a little tired round the edges in the kitchen but fantastic balcony/terrace and overlooking the sea. The food in the hotel restaurant was very good, although they need to relocate from the basement, it was really dark and dingy. The staff were very efficent and friendly. The pool area was always overcrowded, if you wanted a sunbed you needed to up at the crack of dawn which was a bit of a pain. However overall very good and value for money.
“Would stay there again”
Stayed at this hotel for a week in August and would thoroughly recommend it, Very helpful staff clean well equipped rooms with a nice view of the pool area and ocean, with activities during the day such as archery and water basketball and nightly entertainment. A 5 minute walk to the local shops and restaurants, perhaps could have done with a bit more variety in the restaurants there but the food was excellent. Have to recommend trips to Morgan and Puerto Rico both very beautiful parts of the island, very scenic and great to travel there by boat and you cannot go to Gran Canaria Without riding the Camels at Maspolomas, very well priced and great fun.
“Can't wait to go back”
Hotel had a nice chilled out atmosphere, mainly family orientated with very friendly and helpful staff although the only downfall is the fact that you would have to get a taxi to get to the sandy beaches and nightlife in Playa de Ingles so a lot of our money went on taxi fares. There is a convenience store on the ground floor which sells nearabouts everything you would need at very reasonable prices, the restaurant is a bit pricey but provided lovely food (the grilled salmon was really nice). Located nearby is a Go Karting track and Scuba Diving.
“Southern comfort”
The hotel area is designed beautifully and the pool complex in particular. Both the children's pool and the main pool were warm, in August, and the depth (main pool) at 1.5m all round, seemed about right. The small supermarket stocked all the essentials and the entertainment each evening was varied and enjoyable. Finding the hotel, after a long trip, was tricky in that its location is actually Bahia Feliz a short distance from San Agustin back towards the airport. Although situated close to a small local airport, noise from the light aircraft was not a problem.
“can't wait to go back”
great hotel, loved it so much, the area is also absolutely amzing. the only thing was the insects, but we wern't to bothered about it.
“The best hotel i've stayed in in a Spanish resort”
We really enjoyed our stay there. Mainly, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I have been frustrated many times in Spain the lack of basic customer care shown by many spanish personnel. At the Blue Bay it was a breath of fresh air. The room was nice and comfortable and clean. The food was good. The resort shop is not overly priced. The atmosphere was very friedly and relaxed. The staff were brillant with my 3 year old son. The location was ideal, and away from the madness of Playa del Ingles. It's a very nice resort for families and I will be going there again soon.
“loved every minute”
We had a wonderful time, hotel was very clean with excellent customer service. The pool was clean and safe for our children aged 10 and 11. There were plenty of activities every day to keep us all occupied. We had lovely lazy days round the pool and would highly recommend this hotel for a fabulous family holiday.

Area:
San Agustin, San Bartolome de Tirajana, Spain: An extension of Playa del Inglés (Gran Canarias busiest tourist resort), San Agustin shares a similar stretch of soft golden sand but is quieter and more upmarket than its boisterous neighbour. It is popular with families and an older clientele. Nightlife is laid-back, though one of only two casinos on the island is to be found here. Family attractions nearby include a water park and Sioux City, a Wild West re-creation.
