"Nanas was my home for 1 week on Gili Air. It's a beautiful property and so tastefully put together. Michael - the owner - is very welcoming and took the time to highlight and write several recommendations on a map which was so appreciated. He also made sure that I had a comfortable space to work outdoors on my terrace which was so ideal. The staff is kind and attentive and the room was cleaned impeccably every day. "

"Jennie, the host is amazing. She is American and speak English and Indonesian. She gave me many hints and suggestions. The place was overbooked and she proposed me a place into her house, a private room and bathroom which you have your own access so you do not intrude into their live. You can have access to the kitchen. The place is close to the action but far enough not to hear the lively Main Street. I will definitely come back as she is resourceful and her place is great"

"Plus- Nice big pool in villa. Very spacious rooms. Free bikes provided. Friendly staff. Negative- the rooms need some maintenance, crumbling walls in some spots. It is located in the middle of the island, so anytime you want to do something you have to ride back to beach (about 10 mins), which this isn’t a massive deal, it does get annoying in the heat. The place was so empty we were the only people there which was weird."
