"It was great for one two nights stay - we enjoyed having our meals on the porch and drinks around the fire pit. I would suggest to our host to add a couple of decent Stemless wine glasses and then kettle. They was a bit of a noise from neighbors, but it’s all settled in the evening. Outdoor furniture could be cleaner, we had to wipe ourselves."

"We stayed for a long weekend to view the Total Solar Eclipse. House was immaculately clean and orderly. Heat worked great! We brought groceries and had everything we needed at the house to make all meals. Loved the dining table in the front room with the wonderful view of the lake. Owner was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Very nice neighborhood, friendly people liked to stop and talk when we went for walks. Good selection of streaming choices. "The area is scenic, just beautiful. Cottage is well maintained and pretty. Furniture is comfy, and little details are attended to. It's a busy area but the backyard is private. I've stayed in cottages where they didn't have salt and pepper, or any hand soap. This place had a selection of spices, soap in each bathroom, all the towels. Even some shampoo and conditioner! Rachael was easy to talk to and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend 😀"

"My family and I stayed in Honeoye for our daughter’s college graduation. We absolutely loved the house. Huge open floor plan in the kitchen/ living area. The owner has gone to great lengths to have pretty much everything needed to stay. Wegmans and Walmart are about 14 miles away from the home. There are places you can go out to eat or stay in and cook. We definitely recommend!"

"This place makes us feel cozy. However, the cleanliness is not up to par. There are lot of dead bugs in some corners of the room and around the windows. Also found some calcium around the kitchen faucet. Look like the cleaning service didn't do a good job. Why should I pay for cleaning service?"

"We were in town for the weekend for a family wedding at Twin Silos. There were five of us total (three adults and two kids - 10, 16). There was plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable. "This is a wonderful property with a beautiful view of Silver Lake. Great sunsets. A confortable house and very comfortable beds with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The owner provided great products in the barhrooms that helped to make it feel like a spa experience. Also very close to Letchworth State Park, a not to miss experince for hiking and breathtaking views."

"The problem is that the property is physically small, it's short. Not a problem for most people, but being 6' 3", I was hitting my head on a lot of stuff, and hunching most the time I was in the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, it all takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, it is a great small place to stay in. It would be best to get there early to get the heat figured out, if you need to do that. There are a lot of amenities to make sure everything goes smoothly and to pass the time...

"A unique experience. The view from the verandah was lovely, and the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the end of a busy day of hiking. It accomodated our extended family if 11. The pool was refreshing but not heated. The owner gave a behind the scene tour of the rooms not opened for guests. He was a font of historical knowledge."
