“Will definitely use again”

Me and my wife had an absolutely great time. The hotel was awesome. I don't know what other people were complaining about I almost didn't use this hotel after other reviews. I am very glad I used it. The breakfast were very tasty and filling ,the staff was very friendly,the rooms were very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

“I will return.”

We were very pleased with the value that we received for our money. We have grown accustom to living beyond our means, so this hotel was a very nice place to stay for 2 nights. We will be back to Galena when it is warmer and this is where we will stay.

“This was a great hotel!”

We recently spent the night at this hotel - fantastic experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was immaculate, the breakfast(with the delicious custom made waffles) was superb, location was close to our needs, we wish we had kids with us for the pool area. This was a great get away.

“I was icredibly impressed with everything about the hotel!”

The service was fantastic. The location was great. The pool and slide area was impressive for the room cost. The breakfast was really good. My wife and I went for our 4 yr. anniversary and were really glad I chose this hotel. There is a Culvers right across the street within walking distant along with the family restaurant. There was also a house tour on the other side of the hotel. Wal-mart was near by as well. With car you can be in the downtown area in 5 minutes or less. I cannot recommend this Hotel enough. We are already planning our next one here.

“Very Comfortable and Great Breakfast”

The hotel was great. Not as close to Galena as it would make you think, but an acceptable drive. The Continental Breakfast included with the stay was by far the best continental breakfast I have ever had. Not just cold cereal and pre-packaged pastries which is typical, but Waffles made to order and fresh bagels and fruit. Very unexpected and very much appreciated. Would stay there again even though the slide on the pool wasn't working and had not been fixed before we checked out.

“Recommended stay”

Every staff person at this hotel was top notch. The waffles were great and the service in the morning was awesome. The pillows are little small, so you might want to bring your own. The hotel said they were be remodeled and getting new bedding next year, so hopefully that will fix the pillow problem. The waterslide was fun for adults, too. Nice whirlpool and exercise room.

“Wonderful experience”

Well kept, clean , comfortable facility - nicely decorated - Great pool, open til 11 which enabled us to enjoy it after being out and about during the day - free continental breakfast was very good - We had a celebrity sighting, a well-known soap star!
