Property Amenities
The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach All Inclusive has one beachside swimming pool with sundeck and poolside bar providing cool drinks to sunbathers. Another bar serves guests on the beach. The All-Inclusive Plan includes use of a fitness center, sauna, and children's activity program (ages 4-12). A junior club for children ages 12-16 is available (five children maximum).
Off the lobby are a sundries and gift shop, liquor store, and clothing boutique. The hotel has a computer center with dial-up Internet access (surcharge). The theater and disco are open every night for live entertainment and dancing. Meeting and wedding facilities can be booked and medical services are also available.

Junkanoo Restaurant - Large open-air, two-level restaurant with terra-cotta tile floor, high natural-pine ceiling, ceiling fans. International-style buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Viva Café - Italian restaurant open for dinner, requires reservation, a la carte menu. The restaurant offers an outdoor pizzeria.
Bambu - Asian-specialty restaurant. Some food items may be available for extra charges. Reservations required. No swimsuits permitted.
Recreation
As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, guests of this Wyndham resort in Lucaya enjoy complimentary use of bicycles, kayaks, small sailboats, snorkeling gear, windsurfers, an archery range, and two hard-surface, lighted tennis courts. Other activities include soccer, Ping-Pong, and water polo.
Some activities are available for additional fees, including scuba diving lessons and excursions, banana-boat and glass-bottom boat rides, waterskiing, personal watercraft, parasailing, and sunset and party-boat cruises.
Viva Circus makes its debut in Bahamas. This show features acrobatic stunts, interactive trapeze lessons and circus juggling.

“Great Caribbean Vacation on a Budget”
The hotel isn't fancy - but it's everything you need! The white sugary beach is just stunning. The snorkling is amazing. The food is great and there is plenty of it. The animation and sport staff are very friendly and helpful. They have photographers on staff who are very nice and take great pictures. You can purchase the pictures at a very reasonable price. There is plenty to do if you want to be active or it is just a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the water and soak up the sun. We will definitely be back!
“Will Definitely Return”
The hotel was definitely worth its 3* rating - of typical Caribean style. We were more than satisfied with the services and facilities on offer. You were allowed to do as much or as little as you pleased. The bar staff were excellent as were the beach bar staff and our cleaner was wonderful - our room was always left spotless. The food was superb - plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner along with the beach bar offering burgers, hotdogs, fries and sandwiches. We definitely hope to go back in the future.

The beach and ocean were fantastic. It was nice being able to snorkle in front of the resort. I thought the food was very good.
“SWEET SPRING BREAK!!!”
The entire staff was super nice, eager to assist, and knowledgeable every time we dealt with them. They clean the beach every morning and try to keep up with it throughout the day. The only messes are due to the slobs on the beach that do not clean up after themselves. The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff does a great job. The food was great in the buffet. Each meal had a variety of meats, veggies, fruits, salads, deserts, and pasta of the day for the vegetarians out there. We did eat burgers, dogs, and nuggets at the snack shop. The pizza shack at 11pm rocks! Always lines, however, they are shorter if you tip (wink, wink). If you are there to get drunk then stick to beer and wine. If you want the fun fruity drinks then you are not getting drunk. I am a lightweight and can drink these all day without getting buzzed. Totally watered down. Snorkeling off the beach is awesome! Straight out from the guard shack/trees out by the buoys there is a reef with a giant lobster, starfish, parrotfish, grouper, lionfish, snapper, and many others. The grouper was about 3' long. We also went out with Viva Diving and had a blast! The disco was tons of fun as were the nightly shows. The staff is amazing! They work all day and then perform incredible stunts and dancing at night. From what we could tell, the Kids Club was great too. It seemed there was always something going on for the little ones. Our kid is 17 and she had a blast on the beach, pool, game area, and disco.
“Excellent hotel for family vacation”
Hotel was very nice and comfortable. Had a water outage one day but everyone worked hard to get it restored. Had water back one in a few hours. Food was great and the drinks were excellent!!
“Awesome Destination”
This was our first trip to the Bahamas and it was amazing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and energetic. There was plenty to do. The food in both the dining room and restuarants was always fresh and delicious. Pizza before bed- how can you beat that. Definitely on my list of places to revisit!
“Truly fantastic time!”
A great resort! We had an absolutely beautiful vacation. After reading some of the reviews we were a bit nervous but it was a truly fun time. You couldn't have asked for nicer weather and a more beautiful beach. I can't describe how beautiful the beach and the ocean were. Sitting under the many lanais after we had too much sun was so relaxing. And the pool was also very relaxing. There were always activities going on that were fun. We loved the kayaks and other boats. It was like being at summer camp. Set your mind to have fun and you will really enjoy yourselves. We never left the resort as there was so much to do. We kept going all day until late at night. The late night pizza was great! The drinks were not watered down and there was never a wait at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly. The food was more than decent and there was plenty of it. The staff was very gracious and very talented. They were very pleasant and made things fun. If you are nice to people they will be nice to you! We enjoyed the nightly shows. We also enjoyed making new friends with people from all over the world. The room was very Bahamian and comfortable. It was an all-around positive experience. Go and relax and enjoy! We're going back!
“Best Vacation of my Life!”
This was our first time at an "all-inclusive" and it was fantastic! The food was very good and the selection was fantastic! The resort was very clean and beautiful. The staff were so much fun! Very energetic and always had time for the visitors. I loved the theatre shows every night. The snorkeling is awesome! Some of the best I have seen. Thank you staff of Viva Fortuna, for making our stay so enjoyable.
“Would go back again!”
Great for the family get away. Lots of activities for the teenage children. Staff was freindly and very helpful. The midnite pizza was very tasty. Snorkeling off the beach was loaded with fish. The food was plentiful with plenty to choose from. If you have children take this vacation you won't regret it.
“Looking forward to going back”
Could not ask for a better vacation. The resort was absolutely incredible. The people there were very helpful and extremely friendly. Always something to do. I took along 11 other people, most who have never been on a vacation like this one, we all had a great time. Next year we are all going back and alot more are planning to join us.
