“Close to everything you need”
Clean rooms and a very professional and curtious staff make this hotel a great stay. Close to all the downtown attractions and not too far from The Stock Yard section on town. Will stay here on my return to Fort Worth.
“Fort Worth it”
Excellent quality and service for the price in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. The desk staff was cordial, if not overly friendly, but very helpful. The valet staff was very outgoing, eager and engaging. They were great ambassadors for the hotel and even got my moping teenager to laugh. Our room stayed nice and dark and, while nothing special, was quite comfortable. The bathroom was kind of an odd layout, with the sink counter in a very cramped area outside the overly spacious toilet and shower room.
“It was OK”
The hotel was nice - but I felt it was overpriced. No breakfast was included. the place for breakfast didn't serve you - you had to take a number.
“Good location”
Good location. Smaller room - awkward 'retofit' layout - tight fit of furniture in room.
“Nic Hotel in Center of the Revitalized Downtown”
Very nice setting renewed old hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Parking is not included in room price and is a litttle annoying to have to valet and sound from sundance square carries into the rooms late at night.
“Hopefully they fix the problem”
I believe the clicking noise from a washing machine carried throughout the walls while we stayed at this hotel. It sounded like the ending of a spin cycle a few seconds before it stopped (this is why I believe it to be a washing machine, and not , well , "2 people on their honeymoon"). I asked a hotel employee where they did the laundry, and she said it was not on the property. She then said they have guest machines on different floors. I encouraged her to have someone look into the noise. We heard this around 5:00 PM and 4:30 AM (which woke my wife and I from our sleep).
“Nothing Special”
The hotel is in a good location for downtown activities. The room was well appointed, but not as clean as I have come to expect from this chain. The view from the room was great. The front desk appeared to be hesitant to offer any sort of concierge type services/knowledge.
“Would not recommend”
I read the reviews prior to booking- I expected the noise, the small room and the outdated decor so that was no surprise. The air conditioner was broken- very uncomfortable night. Had ordered a bottle of wine from the bar along with 2 glasses of water- the water tasted like chemicals. Called the desk to let them know about the issues. No concessions on the a/c and he informed me that the water in FW is not treated...but that I would not know that being from another place. I have lived in FW and know that to be incorrect. I chose this hotel based on the central location, I would definitely fork out taxi money before booking here ever again. For the money, there are much better options.
“not impressed”
The room was too small. The bathroom was roomy. We could hear everything in the next room. The bed was very comfortable.
“Go down the road to the Courtyard”
The room service breakfast was probably the worst Egg's Benedict of all time. I needed a big breakfast due to missing dinner because of long flight delay. I ended up starting that first morning eating my protein bars. I don't mind spending on room service but I wouldn't recommend the food here. Go down the road for all your food options...and it's TX there are hundreds of fast food places and other half way decent options. You can find heathly places to eat. The gym was extremely sorry and broken down. I had booked here with hopes of not missing workouts. Go down the road and pay $10 for a one-day 24HR Fitness.
