The Lighthouse Resort Inn and Suites is a pleasant value resort, well-situated one block from the Gulf of Mexico, five miles from Lover's Key State Park, and twelve miles from Sanibel Captiva Island. Hotel amenities include two swimming pools: one, with a rock waterfall, in back of the resort; the other, next to the tiki bar in front. The on-site Tiki Bar and Grill serves poolside drinks and appetizers, as well as a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu with nightly specials. A picnic area with barbecue grills is available for guest use. Other amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas, plus an ATM and laundry facilities.

“Great Location”
We had a great time at the Lighthouse In and Resort. The Tiki Bar was a great deal of fun and the Hotel was in a great location, just a 3 minute walk from Downtown Ft. Meyers Beach. This isn't the fanciest hotel but the accomodations are sufficient and kitchenettes in each room are great. All in all we had a great time and got a great price on the room.
“Nice place to get away!”
The Lighthouse Resort was clean and nicely priced for being just a short walk from the beach. The Lighthouse also has two pools - one with a Tiki Bar restaurant which serves everything from breakfast to late night food and there is also another restaurant on property. We did not eat at either location, but we did have a few drinks at the Tiki Bar while we sat by the pool and prices were average for the beach area. The rooms are set up with small kitchenettes and are like small apartments. The only downfall of this location was that there were quite a few families also vacationing here and so our time spent by the pool included a bit of -screaming child- in the background. Overall, for couples who are on a budget, yet want to feel like they have -gotten away from it all- the Lighthouse Resort is a great choice.
“The Lighthouse is Lovely!”
The Lighthouse has something for everyone...family, single, groups, couples..I stayed at the lighthouse first week of November 2008. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, which was well kept, and clean. It is a area of the hotel to stay in if you're o.k., with lots of good music til' late hours at night! The tiki bar was right below us, and it rocks! If you want a quiet area of the hotel, make sure you state so when booking because that could be a deterrent to those needing a quiet space at night. The service was great, tiki bar lots of fun, good food! The swimming pool on far side of hotel looked to be newly renovated with falls and new pool bottom, very clean. The pool by tiki bar, albeit a bit older, was still very clean and lovely. We got a great deal for our room through expedia, and would recommend this hotel to others for sure!
“would go again”
I enjoyed all of my time here. I had a poolside room. It overlooked the tiki bar that always had something going on. Although when I went it was for more retiree's. This was a great spot if you let your hair out a bit. I had friends that staid at the other end of the island andthey had all sorts of problems with people going to bed at sunset.
“Wonderful Place to Stay”
We took two sixteen yr. olds and it was the best. Tiki bar to eat at, two pools to sit around, and the best thing was that it was close to everthing. Beach just across the street. Loved it there. People were so nice. Would stay again.
“Can't wait to go back”
Absolutely wonderful atmosphere..close to shopping and just a short walk to the beach..what more could you ask for. Rooms are great and so is the tiki bar. Wonderful staff also. I will definately be going back.
“Loved the location”
The location of this hotel was great, just about everything within walking distance. The beach is just across the street and Times Square was right there also. Me, my husband and our teenage son had a great time. The hotel room was a little dirtier than I had expected so I had houskeeping come up and run the vacuum and mop the tile floors, which were a little stained in the bathroom. The hotel staff were great people and the Tiki Bar was a lot of fun. Our room overlooked the pool and the Tiki Bar which was great as we were able to sit on the balcony right outside our room and listen to the music and karaoke without having to actually go to the bar if we didn't want to. The music was kept at a good level so that if we wanted to go in our room and sleep we could do that as well. I will definitely stay there again.
“excellent choice!”
we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms; the grounds were beautiful and well maintained; the pools were magnificent; the tiki bar was great; the workers and the guests were all pleasant, good natured and we had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic!
“This is my second stay at the Lighthouse Inn - would go back in a minute!”
The hotel staff is extremely accommodating. The location of the inn is great - right across from the beach. The price was also a wonderful surprise - cheaper than a chain hotel.
“Fun Fun Fun!”
My husband and I just stayed one night while waiting for the Key West Express the next morning. A barbecue was going on, burgers and dogs, at the Tiki Hut Bar which is in the center of teh complex with the pool. We walked to the beach for dinner at a Greek restaurant. I was able to get Greek food, which I love; my husband was able to get seafood. It was like a mini Key West. We found a quiet little bar that had a guy playing and singing mellow songs, that I, being a former flower child of the 70s, loved. We were sorry to leave so soon. We're going back again as soon as we can, just to stay and play there.
