Situated on Estero Island, one mile from the shopping and entertainment of downtown Fort Myers Beach, the Diamondhead's beachfront location translates to plenty of water-sports activities, including personal watercraft rentals.
A sundeck with splash pool, two spa tubs, and lounge chairs overlooks the beach. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor dining, all with great gulf views. Spa services are available on site. A 24-hour fitness center offers cardio machines and free weights, and a 24-hour business center offers complimentary access to a computer and printer.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Parking is also complimentary, and coin-operated laundry facilities are on site.
The Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa is a smoke-free property.

The Diamondhead Beach Resort and Spa has 124 one-bedroom suites with screened-in, step-out balconies with full or partial gulf views. All suites include kitchenettes with dishwashers, toasters, coffee/tea makers, compact refrigerators, and microwaves. Also included are living areas with queen sofa beds, two telephones with data ports, free high-speed Internet access, and two TVs with HBO and pay movies. All rooms are nonsmoking.
Dining
Chloe's Seafood & Steakhouse - Indoor dining with panoramic views of the gulf. Dinner favorites include fresh seafood, steaks, and pastas. Open for breakfast, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
Chloe's Lounge - Specialty drinks and a spectacular view of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico. Appetizers, full menu available. Occasional live entertainment. Open from early evening until late evening.
Cabanas Beach Bar - Hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, wraps, and specialty drinks served poolside with great views of the gulf. Open seasonally from mid-morning until early evening.
Room service - Available during restaurant hours.
Recreation
This Fort Myers Beach resort features a sundeck with splash pool and two spa tubs overlooking the gulf. The 24-hour fitness center includes free weights, a treadmill, and a stationary bike.
Personal watercraft and bicycle rentals are available (surcharge). Volleyball is played on the beach.
The 18-hole, par-60 Bay Beach Golf Club is located within four miles of the hotel.

“I loved it and will take my vacation there again!!!”
Fort Myer's beach was beautiful, we had a wonderful time on the beach. Collected seashells, had dinner on the Pier. A lot of places to eat. A magic show on the pier. The Hotel was wonderfull. Clean. Service was more that we could have asked for. People was very helpful. The view was to die for as we were upgraded to a beach front room to our surprise. Will go back again as soon as we can
“Very comfortable and clean.”
The room was very clean and spacious. the balcony was very large and overlooked the pool and Gulf. We went on an off time (September)so no crowds, no waiting at area restaurants, etc. The food at both the outdoor bar and Chloes was extremely good. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. Just minutes from Sanibel Island which is beautiful. Easy access to the airport.

This hotel clearly stands out as an exception for the price. Everything was just as the website described and more. The hotel is immaculate, the room was spectacular and very spacious, the staff and all amenities were superb. My husband and I enjoyed this property and found it to be an excellent deal. I have paid much more to stay at other hotels that did not offer half as much. The location is great and everything you need is located at the resort.

“Nice, Clean & Relaxing”
Unsure of what to expect based on a couple of the reviews but we can't wait to go back! The suite was large & clean, screened balcony was great, pool and beach areas were excellent! Only wish the pool area food/beverage area stayed open a little later. Definitly a place where we would stay again. We also wish the hotel would offer a discounted package for your stay, that included the beach side cabanas. All and all an excellent trip.

This was our 3rd stay at Diamondhead, and we have never been disappointed. Gulf views are awesome from our private balcony. Location is great--just a nice walk down the beach to Time Square. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the bed linens and pillows to down-filled.
“Great Vacation Getaway”
The Diamond Head Resort in Fort Myers provided us with one of the most enjoyable beach vacations we ever had. Everything was excellent.
