It's nice to see that you enjoyed the welcoming and friendly service of our staff, as well as our central location and our amenities :) However, I am sorry to read that you found the room to be a bit too noisy - we are very lucky to be in such a central part of Edinburgh, right in the heart of the New Town, but of course this means that we are surrounded by many other businesses and venues. We do our best to work with them and to make sure that their activities don't have too much of an impact on our guests' stay but, as you can imagine, we have no direct control over their operations. We really want all of our guests to have the best night's sleep while staying with us, but this was clearly not the case for you on this occasion and, for this, I can only apologise. Next time, please do reach out to us ahead of your arrival, or simply feel free to leave a wee note when making your reservation, and we'll do our very best to make sure you're allocated to one of our quieter studios facing the back. We will keep in mind your feedback regarding the socket near a mirror for future improvements. Our studios have a full length mirror that usually has a socket nearby but I understand this is not the ideal setting to do your hair.
