"We had a memorable stay at the Hotel Prisenhof. Centrally located in the heart of Gronigen, there were numerous shops, restaurants and points of interest all within walking distance. Our room was on the upper floor of what we learned was previously a monastery. It had a lovely view of the garden and was very spacious, although we wished it had more natural light. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. If you are driving, a tip is to park overnight at the Forum...

When the elevator would not move due to weight, she took one of our bags to our room up 2 flights of stairs. When we left one of us went into elevator with bags and the other walked down.
