"Great cabin in an isolated rural country-side. More spacious than we expected (party of 4 adults toddler). Loved waking up each morning to the songs of birds while seated at the patio. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. There is a heater in the basement that more than warms up the entire house. Easily accessible to the nearby trails and waterfalls. And those country roads can get tempting to anyone with a lead foot! Be careful though. The host was very responsive - contacted him...

"My wife and I had a great time exploring the finger lakes region. Staying in this cabin was a great locatiin to the two of the larger lakes. I wanted to stay away from people and this cabin fit that perfrctly. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at the lakes. Everything was clean and a fully stocked kitchen. Would absolutely recommend this place to stay to anyone wanting peace and quiet. Thank you so much for offering this hidden gem."

Two of us had stayed here before, and we were pleased, but not surprised, to have the same wonderful experience as last time. "Tucked away on the other side of a bridge, the house was a perfect home base to explore Corning, Watkins Glen, and Ithaca. Clean, quiet, and spacious. The turn-off from Rt 414 to the private access road can be hard to spot at night, but the hosts sent detailed instructions."

"Our stay at the Quiet Spot" was amazing. So many places to visit around the area. Surrounded by waterfalls and lakes, they give us an opportunity for pleasant drives. The house is wonderfully enchanted with trees set all around on a huge piece of land. Our hosts, Mindy and Steve have bird feeders and suet around the house for us to bird watch. "If you like the peaceful outdoors,this is the place for you. Me and my daughter enjoyed experiencing tiny house living. I loved hearing the birds chirping and got to see the sun rise from a distance. The tiny house was clean and felt very homey. They also have a washer and dryer in separate out house. It's also not too far from local shops and restaurants. I would stay here again in the future. 😊"

Just beware the low ceilings down stairs, they got my husband a few times. The lake and docks are stunning. The hot tub was very clean. All around a great stay."
