“Extremely impressed with every aspect of the hotel”
Just returned back from spending 5 days in the Marine hotel in Dublin, well actually it's not in Dublin, but arount 7 miles away, in a place called Sutton, which is sleepy little village perched on the edge of a headland, and suppounded on both sides by the Irish sea. We chose the hotel because it was out of the city centre, and because it has excellent train and bus routes to the city, bus stop is at the front door, and Dart train station is an easy 5min walk away, both take you comfortably to the city centre. Hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was huge and well appointed, toilet in particular was impressive, large bath and showrer, and fresh towels every morning. Staff were excellent, meals were fresh, well cooked and great value for money. Pool and steam room were very quiet, clean warm. What more can I say, GO THERE TODAY!
“Grand Hotel be back soon”
Stayed here for weekend and was very impressed with the welcome, asked for sea-view rooms, no problem. Lovely views over Dublin Bay. Hotel receptionist very helpful, great bar and of course a lovely Guinness to enjoy. Hearty Irish breakfast to start the day. Hotel location is ideal, near to the Dart station, frequent trains into Dublin centre. The fishing village of Howth is near by with a great selection of fish restaurants. Certaintly be staying here again.

Clean, friendly, good view, bus and Dart close by. Great breakfast. Very enjoyable four day stay. Would definitely stay again.
“Friendly staff, great service”
Arrived in Dublin at 0430, after the overnight flight. Stopped at the hotel for breakfast, knowing we couldn't check in until 1500. They allowed us to check in early, giving us a chance to catch a nap before sight-seeing . . . . Good food, service, etc. Great location a short drive from the airport.
“BRILLIENT HOTEL WITH STUNNING VIEWS”
The Marine Hotel, Station Road, Sutton Cross we found was excellent in every way, the room was big enough to have a party, the bathroom immaculate and all extras provided as you would expect from a 5* hotel. The staff were more than helpful. And the views from the back terrace over the lawn and down to the beach was spectacular... I would definately recommend it to anyone and all for a resonable price and a 3* grade hotel... The local DART only 3 minutes walk from the hotel straight into the heart of Dublin (Pearse Street). Only 20 minutes from Dublin Airport as well what more could you want.

Beautiful location, just 20 mins away from Dublin City Centre on the Dart. Hotel was relaxing and service was friendly and excellent.
“Wonderful Dublin Area Hotel”
This hotel was excellent. The General Manager met us at the lobby desk and after finding out we had driven across Ireland that day, provided us with a complimentary pint in the hotel pub. He later personally drove us the few minutes into Howth to get dinner. Wonderful. The hotel itself is located on Dublin Bay. It is within walking distance from public transportation that will take you anywhere you need to go in Dublin. And it was quite quiet at night.
“Impressive service, kind staff, great location!”
The tea kettle did not work in my room, so the staff were very kind to provide complimentary coffee/tea from the bar until they could replace it. They also provided directions and other assistance whenever asked. Room service was excellent and prompt. Free fast Wi-Fi was great as well. Besides being close to exploring Howth, the location was ideal since it was easily accessible to the DART Sutton Station for journeys to the city centre and Bus 102 to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for its affordable cost and excellent service and staff.
