"Amazing night in Buffalo"
My wife and I visited Buffalo in May en route to Philadelphia. We stayed at the LaFayette Hotel which was comfortable and very well appointed. The staff provided great service. We visited several sights (including Albright Knox, Allentown, Elmwood) which were easily accessible by the courtesy tram running north-south in the city. Great Mexican dinner uptown but restaurant at hotel also good. We'd visit again!

"Striving to be excellent - and almost achieving it"
We spent two nights in the Mansion on Delaware at the end of a trip across New York State. First impressions were excellent - a helpful reception team (referred to in the hotel as "Butlers") sorted luggage, showed us round and moved our car to their main parking lot which is just across the road from them. Room was comfortable, with a good quality bathroom and excellent shower. Once again helpful service providing a folder of menus for local restaurants and placing a booking for us with one. They also have a driver service where they will take you to anywhere within 3 miles and/or collect you - though we didn't use this. So why not as excellent as all this seems? Mostly attention to detail. In our room, the bathroom fittings and desk were of excellent quality, but the TV stand which doubled as chest of drawers felt like a cheap flat pack - the door didn't open far enough to let the drawer runners out, which had resulted in gouges in the back of the door, and half the time the drawers fell off the runners. The breakfast had a magnificent collection of cakes and pastries, but was sadly lacking in anything healthy. A jar of Raisin Bran and a bowl of Natural Yogurt would have made all the difference. Our final comment, though, is that this is a hotel which needs to decide on its identity. The building is historic and wonderful, but the choices of art, furniture, cutlery etc, are decidedly modern aiming towards minimalist - and the two don't always work together.

"Good hotel close to airport "
Good breakfast, with basic necessities required for an overnight stay. Square bed pillows were not comfy - should reconsider providing proper sleeping pillows (I.e rectangular shaped ones).

"Great for a Weekend Getaway!"
Stayed at the hotel for Father's day weekend to visit family. The hotel overall was clean and the Valet parking was def worth the 25/day. It made the expereince of going in and out of the city stress free. The Hotel staff was beyond wonderful minus a little attitude I got from one of the front desk personel regarding a request I needed help with. The rooms were great and I loved them. I may just say the shower could have used either cleaned or updated a little more. Overall it was great and i would stay again in a heartbeat!

Room was nice. Didn't really like how kids were running around in the area with the complementary drinks . Also the $18 for valet parking was a unpleasant surprise
