"The hotel advertises that it has AC but it didn’t work in either of the rooms we had. It was in the 30’s outside and we were able to open a window and somehow, the room was still very hot to sleep in. That would be my only complaint. The hotel is nice and the bed is very comfortable. "

"We booked a deluxe lake view room. The view was amazing but the room was so small that it didn’t have 2 night stands. It was like a $50 a night Econolodge off a highway. There is no air conditioning and it was very warm. We tried to open the windows but bugs immediately flew in. Breakfast was good and the pool and spa area are top notch. Overall it was overpriced and definitely not 4 stars. "

"Our stay was wonderful. We were lucky that it was warm enough to get into the lake. But even when it got a bit chilly, we enjoyed ourselves in the spa area. And let me tell you this, I've never been in such a charming sauna before. It is partially underwater. "I loved my time at Hotel Oberland!! The views are everything. I made a decision to stay in Triesenberg, rather than Vaduz or another town in the valley, primarily to save money. But it was so worthwhile for the views and the quiet away from the busier areas. Thankfully the buses to Vaduz and elsewhere are timely and convenient. (Just be aware it’s an uphill walk from the bus stop, which can be challenging with luggage.) The self check-in system worked well. But it was a very pleasant highlight to have staff cooking during the breakfast service. They were so welcoming, and the food was great, just what I needed for all the hiking I did throughout Liechtenstein."
