"Where do I start? We had such an amazing stay! The view is unbeatable from the terrace on every floor. The pool is a perfect temperature and the jacuzzi so relaxing. The villa has everything for everyone- games room, yoga mats umbrellas, beach chairs- because the beach is just a few mins walk away. The kitchen is fully equipped- all adds up to a relaxing stay . "Check in wasn’t particularly good. If you don’t speak Spanish it would be challenging as the housekeeper doesn’t speak English. The property itself is tired and needs updating. The kitchen was well equipped but some of the china was chipped. You do need a car to get anywhere. In the evening here are quite a few barking dogs locally. We have stayed in nicer cheaper properties in Spain. The location of the property was good for exploring the region and the local beach was beautiful"

Villa Rosa Blanca is a super, spacious villa in a beautiful rural location yet only 10 minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. "Lovely, comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped house. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area, with good walking in the nearby national park, and sea swimming and water sports nearby, Good waves at Punta Umbria 10 minutes away. El Portil itself was very friendly and the local food was fresh, delicious and inexpensive. Great place to learn and practice Spanish too. "We loved Cuba Libre, it was fantastic. Everything was clean and the villa very well equipped, with lovely fluffy towels, a great coffee machine / BBQ and a beautiful pool to name just a few things. The area was secluded, private and peaceful but was so close to beautiful beaches and lovely restaurants. We hired a car which was required and enjoyed visits to Cadiz, Jerez and the stunning Seville. Overall we loved our 2 weeks and hope to return!"

"We grew up in Spain but live in the US. We wanted to go back and visit family and rented Gaby's house. We absolutely loved the time we had there. The pool is beautiful, the outdoors grill area was something we used every day and the layout of the rooms is great: my wife and I had the master bedroom upstairs while my inlaws were on the first floor. Gaby and her husband were very nice and super responsive. Overall, we had an amazing time!"

"The villa had all the facilities we required. Lovely pool, comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa is well situated and you can walk to beaches and restuarants but a car is ideally needed for shopping and to explore the area. The only thing to mention is the villa would benefit from a few more sunbeds or softer seating in the pool area as the current ones are short in number and getting a little tired. But it was a wonderful holiday...

"Our family of 5 plus my in laws stayed at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. The rooms were all very clean and each had amazing views. Outdoor space was perfect for our large group. We had dinner every night outside and watched the best sunsets I have ever seen. The beach is short 10 minute walk and the town is just 10-15 minutes by car. We did day trips to Seville, Malaga, Ronda and Gibraltar."

Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."
