“Have returned to this Hotel many times”
I have stayed in this hotel many times and have always had a great experience. They have the most comfortable beds and bedding. Their staff has always been accommodating and very pleasant. They are updating the lobby and will be redoing the restaurant so expect some construction for the short while.
“Will go back for sure”
Nice place and nice location (Botanical gardens, Ravinia, 30 min from Six Flags). The pool is not great; I guess they use too much chlorine.
“Great location for Northwestern games”
Great location for staying close to the Northwestern campus for football. Rooms were very nice.
“Friendliness + Professionalism + Great Hotel = Wonderfully Fabulous Stay”
From check-in to check-out, our stay was fabulous. LaMar, the front desk person, was so friendly and professional He was very helpful and genuinely nice. Other hotels aren't as welcoming. The lobby was ecletic and well maintained. Our room was outstanding with beautiful furniture, the huge, super comfortable king-sized bed and the flat screen TV. The bathroom was simply beautiful. The robe was a nice touch. Complimentary drinks before dinner at the sophisticated bar was the perfect way to start the evening. That night, we dined at Ruth Chris' steak house, located on the hotel's premises. What an awesome gastronomical experience! My husband had the ribeye, which was cooked to perfectional, as was my petite filet with shrimp. Fantastic food with outstanding service equals a wonderful dining experience. We left feeling sated, not stuffed. Back at the room, we chat and turned in for the night. Slept like logs on one of the most comfortable that we've ever slept on-even better than ours at home. All in all, we had a great time and can't wait to go back in February. You can't go wrong here. No complaints at all.
“Definitely a great place to stay”
From the time you drive into the hotel, to when you are loading your luggage to go home, this hotel will impress. Each and every staff member was friendly, helpful and greeted you with a smile or verbal acknowledgement of some sort. We had some special needs, they were dealt with efficiently and with no hassle. The hotel was almost at maximum capacity when we were staying, however the staff did not seem over run or burdened at all. The rooms were clean, the bar was friendly and well tended to, overall a great atmosphere, and fabulous place to stay.
“Will stay there again”
Very Elegant. Good Service.
“Great”
Everything was great. Can't wait to go back.
“Great Location, Great Place to Stay”
We where tired when we got to the hotel, but where greeted in a very friendly manner by the staff and taken to our room. The next morning I exercised in the facility and then took a swim. My wife and I then had the buffett breakfast. Delicious. The price was right and we enjoyed ourselves!!
“Best North Shore Hotel with easy access to premium locations”
Clean, comfortable and quiet with professional staff. Had a good experience with a helpful tech to connect my laptop to their wireless internet service. Great place for family reunions if your from the area.
“nice hotel”
The lobby was very nice. We got checked in & out in less than 5 minutes both times. The room was very clean and cormfortable. They said there was a wedding party on our floor and we would probably be able to hear it. We didn't hear a thing. We would definitely stay again.
