Perfect walkable spot in the heart of Charleston! Loved the art museum experience within our own hotel, including an artist's ongoing oil painting that we would walk by every day near the lobby. Breakfast isn't super hearty but a muffin and a piece of fruit to get you going for the day. The staff is attentive and we loved the evening cookie delivery!

Loved our stay at the Vendue. Very close to all the things in Charleston historic district. Bathroom was great. Bed was comfortable. Squeak in the floor that was a little annoying. Worst part about the whole stay was the trash pickup around 4:00 am.

Hotel was in a great location. So comfortable. And the staff was amazing. Made us feel so welcome. Loved having treats left at my door for breakfast and before bed. So many good restaurants made me wish I could stay longer. And loved the rooftop bar

The hotel smells like sewer - almost every room smells like mold and nasty sewer smell. There is mold at the edges of the shower window. The windows do not open and there is no air circulation in the rooms. Smells like mildew

The staff was amazing! So hospitable. They all went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. And the fact that it was an “Art” Hotel - displaying modern local artist and having tours of the art work. They even had painting classes available for guest! And did I mention it has an amazing rooftop bar!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room looked great, but the air conditioning every time it kicked on sounded like a jet engine and kept us up throughout the night, we had a room that was on the first floor and we're woken up early in the morning by garbage trucks and some staff out in the hallway banging things around. In addition to that, I got home and hours after I got home I got a message that I was charged $51 for valet parking which no one told me I was going to be charged for when I checked in or when I checked out. As far as I knew we weren't even given the option to park the car ourselves, I thought that for the expense of almost $550 a night valet parking would be included. Breakfast consisted of a very small croissant, a tiny muffin, an apple, and an unripe banana. Again, for the price of one night my total came to about $600 and I honestly expected more for that kind of money. Luckily I had a good time in Charleston regardless, but I feel like I've been raked over the coals as far as prices are concerned regarding the Vendue

We stayed at the Enclave at the Vendue, and loved it. The staff is incredible. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated very uniquely. It was quiet, with the exception of 6:00 a.m. trash pick up every single day. I would highly recommend.

The Vendue is a very unique hotel with amazing art on display. The staff was phenomenal and there is a restaurent in the hotel named Revival which is very good and makes fine dining from the hotel extremely easy. The location of the hotel is also great giving easy acess to lots of sights to see and other restaurants. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice but they do not offer that. The room was a little on the small side but still confortable.

I never write reviews, but I had such an amazing experience I felt compelled to write one. The location was amazing! The hotel was a 5 minute walk to the pineapple fountain, rainbow row, the market, and local restaurants and shops. The staff was great and was always available to help. The hotel was very unique! Had a gallery on property and a rooftop bar. They have two buildings we stayed in the enclave, but the other building was nice as well! Every morning they would bring us a breakfast pasty package, gave us a free bottle of wine, and always had snacks and drinks available in the lobby! Would highly recommend!

The emphasis on works of art was unique and enjoyable. The greeting at the front desk by Jason was great, he made entry smooth as silk. The Envoy was a challenge due to the amount of steps to get to the room. Our first room had a toilet constantly running and the walls were so thin we easily heard the TV next door. However, the moment Dannielle was notified she had us immediately moved to another room that resolved our issue. Kudos for her prompt action! Although I didn't catch the names of the valet guys, they easily handled our luggage and were very fast brining the vehicle around when we ready to depart.

We were not told in advance that our room on the second floor was not accessible by an elevator. When we checked in another room that could be serviced by an elevator was not offered even though we told them I had had knee surgery.

I loved this place but unfortunately my room was next to the stairs that I believe the housekeeping staff used.....it was squeaky and opened and closed all hours and could be heard in my room
