"Room was clean, roomy, more than adequate for 4 people, our 2 boys shared the king bed in the front room. The smaller private room has a full closet, queen bed and cable tv on a big screen. Mini-fridge was actually cold!! All the beds were comfortable and you cannot beat the location, we walked to the boardwalk and wharf daily! Indoor heated pool and spa! Nice place, quiet and in the best location for tourists activities. We would stay again."

"We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room. "Room 1 was very tiny. Couldn’t walk between the bed and closet unless closet door was closed. Only stayed one night by myself, so it was ok."

"The apartments are the best thing about the stay. We only stayed one night and the 4pm check in and 10am checkout made this spot hard to like. No bag drop or consideration made. Tiffany was pleasant the other staff working desk was had a very unpleasant time dealing with. Quite time (10pm-8am told by staff and 10pm-7am posted in the room) also limits the ability to fully enjoy the patio or jacuzzi. Bed and towels leave a lot to be desired. "
