This Hyatt Regency occupies 22 acres adjacent to the 18-hole championship Del Monte Golf Course, where guests are offered preferred tee times. Amenities include the full-service Accista Spa, two outdoor swimming pools, spa tubs, six tennis courts, table tennis, two pool tables, darts, video games, a fitness center with treadmills, bike machines, Stairmasters, weight machines, and free weights. Bicycle rentals and tennis lessons are also available.
This California hotel offers 40,000 square feet of multifunction space, three restaurants, and a business center. The center provides a computer terminal with high-speed Internet access, laptop connection ports, and copy and fax services (surcharge). Wireless Internet access (complimentary for guests) is available throughout the hotel.
Complimentary shuttle service from the airport is available upon request; guests should contact the hotel upon arrival.

All 550 guestrooms are located in 25 buildings accessed via elevators and interior and exterior corridors. All rooms include Hyatt's signature Grand Bed: Sealy Posturpedic mattress; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down blankets; decorative throw; and an array of European, roll, and throw pillows.
Rooms include two phones with voice mail, complimentary wireless Internet access, in-room safes, individual climate controls, 32-inch LCD flat-panel TVs, iPod docking stations, iHome alarm clocks, and refrigerators. Bathrooms feature walk-in rain showers, plush bathrobes, and designer bath amenities. In-room massage is avilable upon request.

TusCA Ristourante - Serves a combination of authentic Tuscan cuisine prepared with fresh Californian ingredients. The welcoming ambiance of Tuscany and the Northern California countryside are reflected throughout the restaurant, which looks out on the Pebble Beach Company's Del Monte Golf Course through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Fireplace Lounge - Signature cocktails. Live jazz on weekends.
Knuckles - Sports bar with a wood-burning fireplace, pool tables, darts, video games, and 17 TVs. Walls decorated with photos of local sports heroes. Complimentary peanuts and popcorn. Sandwiches, snacks, burgers, and 16 microbrews and other beers on tap. Open afternoons and evenings, featuring every major sporting event. This bar is popular and a consistent favorite with locals.
Recreation

“Best hotel in town”
The room was clean and it looked like they recently renovated it. There was no need for A/C since the weather was very cool. The hotel is close to the road so request for a quiet room.
“Great Hotel & Location”
We went to Monterey for a wedding. The hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. They helped us with perfect directions to the ceremony site. Our room was right on the golf course--literally, our patio was the green! It's freeway close for day trips around the Monterey and Carmel area and very easy to access. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and also return myself.
“Great hotel, great location - older but very cleann”
The staff, location, and amenities such as the pool and the firepit which enchanted my 2 year old, make this a great destination. We stayed in an older building on the 1st floor and had an extremely early riser above us, which we could hear - I'd stay on the top floor next time. Hotel staff took good care of that and of us. I'd definitely stay again.
“Nice hotel in Monterey, CA”
The hotel was very nice and well run. The rooms were well appointed and the bed was especially comfortable. The staff we had contact with were friendly and informative. I highly recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay in Monterey, CA.

Clean rooms. Even though the hotel is layout similar to a small hotel, we were amazed on how quiet the corridors and patio areas turn up to be.

“Hotel worthy if you are able to get a discounted rate”
Very nice hotel. Grounds, staff, rooms, restaurants, etc. were pleasant. I was able to get a very discounted rate for the hotel room through Expedia. I would not pay the full hotel rate for the room, however.
“Enjoyable stay at Hyatt Regency; grounds like a botanic garden”
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. They have a great Sport's Bar and since we are from Chicago area we enjoyed watching the hockey playoffs there. The only downside to the room was that next door neighbors had toddler who woke up crying at night. Perhaps families with small children should be in their own area of the hotel? The grounds are beautifully maintained and we felt we were in a botanic garden!
“Total relaxation”
We so enjoyed our stay in Monterey. From the moment we checked in until we checked out - the staff was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. My husband enjoyed the gyma and the golf course - right outside our door! As for me - it was all about the spa and a facial and a massage .... utter bliss The bathroom was lovely and we truly enjoyed the rainhead shower --- big enough for both of us !! Last but not least -- the triple sheeted, pillow topped king size bed was simply the best!! Will definitely come back and look forward to staying at other Regency properties in other cities.
