My husband and I booked a stay here last minute. We brought our dog as it would be his first time at the beach.
The cabin itself is at the end of a drive which is nice because it gives you more privacy. However being in the wooded area, the mosquitos are no joke. So bring whatever remedies you can. They almost make trying to enjoy the fire pit impossible but nonetheless the property is nice. Inside the cabin the furniture is pretty outdated and it can get dark inside as there isn’t much overhead light- there also aren’t blinds or curtains that close, which I would of preferred. But you can see they updated the flooring and some amenities. I wasn’t able to locate the wagon on-site to use for the beach- so I would recommend bringing one. Someone mentioned that the water from the faucet smelled like sulfur- so we did bring gallons of water for the coffee machine and for cooling.
The best part of our trip was the beach itself. It was empty and just what we hoped for. Privacy and relaxation.
