Deceiving listing and Cockroaches
This is not the same property as the description and far from a luxury beachside townhouse. Never received any check-in or checkout instructions and had to text host morning of.
Upon arrival we found the property located a bit more than a few blocks from the beach, as it is nearly half-mile away… far from beachside. You wont be hearing any crashing waves from this property as the description states. The listing also states that there is a hot tub. There is no hot tub and when a text was sent to the host he stated there are a few hotels nearby that we could go to if we wanted to use a hot tub.
The property has some great potential but is currently overgrown and dirty. Trash cans out front are full and several cans emitted an oder and obviously have not been emptied in some time.
The inside of the house was far from luxury. The house is filled with cheap furnishings, the couch is not what is pictured, and instead a horribly stained cheap slide out couch that maybe sits 3 adults. The kitchen table could be a nice place to gather if it had more than just 3 chairs. You can sleep 10 if you use a dirty mattress in an upstairs closet. The sheets and pillows in all rooms were dirty with hair and other debris from previous guests and had to be cleaned before we could go to bed.
Dirty towels hung in an upstairs closet and bathroom, while the dishes all required some level of cleaning before we could use them. Glad we did, as we woke up to find cockroaches in the house.
