"Little slice of home away from home."
I stayed at the Hotel Cismigiu for five days and found it was one of those places that just works great on so many levels. Close to the "Old City" or Lipscani, easy taxi ride or walk to many of the attractions in town. Staff is helpful with first hand recommendations. Services at the hotel are reasonable such as laundry. Hotel restaurant is an actual restaurant that is popular based on the packed tables every evening. The room has more of a small apartment feel that was very spacious and well thought out. Price was extremely reasonable. Bucharest is a fun town with hidden gems around every corner, my stay was magnified by having such a wonderful starting point as the wonderful Hotel Cismigiu. The hotel is one of the few that you really are sad when the day comes for check out as you know that you will not likely have the same level of accommodations for the rest of your trip. Dining options close by the hotel include international "fast food" options as well as a large variety of sit down restaurants.

"Nice, peaceful and very clean"
The hotel is conveniently situated close to P-ta Romana and Pta Victoriei. Access on foot to Metro, bus etc. Staff friendly and helpful. The room ( single room) was ideal for my needs , however if you require a larger room, larger shower and no stairs you must request so when you booking. ( in particular for American market).

"Great Hilton Hotel!"
I love this hotel. I have stayed here on business 4 times now over the past 3 years and every time I am greeted by the same doorman and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I love the breakfast as well - something not to be missed! I also had lunch here and the food is almost amazing good for a hotel restaurant! The rooms are enormous and the beds are super comfortable. I do prefer to stay facing the Theatre side as it is a nicer view and usually quieter. The hotel also has a great bar and pub, shame you are still allowed to smoke indoors in Romania, so get ready to come out completely smoked! Great location as well, I usually walk to all of my meetings. It is also daily close to the old area which is pretty cool both in the evening and during the day. Bucharest has a great nightlife! Wi-Fi is quite good but you do have to pay for it. I have only complaint once about the room service food I had which was not really to the standards the food usually is and the concierge was really apologetic and asked me if there was anything they could do for me and I ended up getting some free internet and did not have to pay for the dinner. Much appreciated. I will always come back to this hotel whenever I come to Bucharest.

"Perfect!"
Me and my two girl friends were wanting a weekend trip somewhere and chose Bucharest, having some reservations we wanted what seemed to be rated as a safe and comfortable hotel and that is just what we got and more! The staff couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations and airport service. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed an apartment setting room. The hotel made our stay while being in Bucharest. Thank you!

"Short break in Bucharest"
Plenty to see in a 3 day break, peasant museum, art museum. Been to St Fagans in Cardiff? There is a similar Romanian version just a few metro stops from the university metro stop (metro tickets available from machines, instructions in French and English)

"Fantastic hotel---great location"
The Central Hotel is close to everything. Even my friend who doesn't walk very well, was able to see nearly all of the sites in Bucharest w/ no issues. It's very, very walkable even for those who don't want to walk far or just can't walk far. The staff of the hotel are very nice and friendly. I was sick at the start of my stay. One of the ladies working breakfast heard that I couldn't talk and got me some tea w/ lemon and honey. It was just what I needed. She was awesome. The hotel itself resembles something from South Beach, FL. It has flashing lights in the lobby and sparkly walls which make it fun. The headboards even like up if you'd like them to. The rooms were always clean and very comfortable. I never felt threatened by the location or walking around by myself which I did do a bit of. It really is a wonderful hotel in an incredible city. If I ever go back to Bucharest, and I truly hope that I do, I'll make it a point to stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful stay. Stef Henderson
