"We were three families with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 3 to 14 years of age. The place was absolutely stunning and suited our requirements perfectly. If you wanted some peace and quiet there were plenty of places to retreat to. The outdoor space is immense and the wild flower meadow is the best i've ever seen. "A lovely house. The grounds are phenomenal with lovely views of the countryside. Plenty of room for people. Mahil was very helpful and approachable. Pool is glorious and huge. There was a heating issue with the pool but Mahil fixed it without haste. Slight issue is the shop is probably 20 minutes away. Also we paid extra for sheets and towels as didn’t have enough room in the car but there was only one towel each and no floor mat or tea towel. Otherwise very lovely property."

"Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough."

"The hotel was lovely we were given a newly refurbished room with a fantastic walk in shower. The owner and his wife could not have been more helpful. They were cheerful and chatty and very likeable. The hotel room was on a main road but was easily walkable into the city. "
