“A great place to stay”

The Lenox is a lovely place to stay. It's in a great location, the staff are very helpful and friendly, it's very well maintained, and very comfortable. I would normally choose a hotel with more contemporary decor, but all aspects of the Lenox work very well and the Edwardian decor has been tastefully revamped. I would return to the Lenox without hesitation. Only one very small niggle. We didn't think breakfast - the only meal we ate in the hotel - lived up to the hotel's other standards.

“Couldn't have asked for a better!”

The hotel is in a perfect location for seeing the sights of Boston. The staff in the hotel are all smartly dressed and very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, with 2 double beds and a walk-in wardobe, with a safe. Complimentary bottles of water are delivered to your mini bar each day. Chocolates left on the bed each evening as part of the turn-down service, Aveda complimentary toiletries better than the average offering. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room, but the lobby served complimentary tea/coffee, fruit & pastries in the morning. The hotel bars are lively and seem to be popular with locals as well as guests. The Public Library is right next door, and well worth a look. Newbury Street is a couple of short blocks away, with some great shopping - well known "designer" stores, as well as many unique little stores and boutiques. Boston Common, Chinatown, Quncy Market etc were all within walking distance for us, but there is a metro station close by if you'd rather not walk. We highly recommend this hotel, and would love to visit again.

“Great Location!!”

Everything was excellent at this hotel except one thing. The hotel's bar after 9:00 PM has bouncers and will not let the hotel patrons in the bar if it's to capacity. I found that to be unacceptable. Hotel patrons should have 1st dibs in the bar since we are paying premium dollars to stay at the hotel.

“BEST LOCATION”

The Lenox Hotel is located in a great location and the staff is very helpful with planning any trips (such as Whale Watching) you may have in mind. The local subway (T) is less than one block away. I would recommend this hotel to all.

“Combination of old world charm and modern day service”

We adored this hotel, the room was expansive, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The staff were both friendly and anxious to be of service. We wanted to watch a rugby game that was not being shown on TV. They found a way to stream from my PC to the big TV screen - nothing was too much trouble. It is located in an up-market neighbourhood, with restaurants and shops close at hand. A short subway ride took us to the centre of town. Would recommend it to anyone going to Boston
