Our 12 feet off the ground and grid treehouse provides a unique experience. Living area has a kitchen counter with sink and camping stove. Bunk bedroom has custom build bunkbeds with windows and tree ladder. The bathroom is uniquely designed with barnboards, fish sink and access to the outdoor shower. A pull down ladder (see picture) gives you access to the sleeping loft with a private balcony and large windows to a gorgeous view of the woods and field. The treehouse is now powered by Solar and has regular 110. A firepit and a grill are available. You can take a 1/4 mile trail walk around the property and visit the private river access. We have seen numerus wildlife at our property like deer, turkeys, squirls, chipmunks, rabbits. We are 1 mile from the Genesee Greenway, 25 minutes from Letchworth State Park, on the Route 19 Bike Route, 30 min from Swain Ski Area, 45 min from Ellicotville/Holliday Valley Ski Area and home to Bare Knuckle Boxing History. Needs tweaking
Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather.

Great craftmanship but too many problems
I really wanted to give a higher rating, but there were just too many issues. We were prepared for a more rustic experience as I had read the listing and previous reviews. And we knew the water would not be potable, but we couldn't even wash our hands in it as it was a dark brown color and the sulfur smell was very strong. There was a Dollar General nearby where we could stock up on more water. There was a very mild breeze the first night and we were all awake all night due to the very loud rattling and creaking noise from the windows. I could not open either door without a struggle and the propane cooking oven only worked intermittently. The craftmanship was great and the owner very responsive when we had questions.

Cute but with a catch
Stayed there for a weekend getaway. The shower is outside and doesn’t really have much privacy. The house leaks water when it rains past the tree holes… woke up with the floor flooded by the morning. Those same hole let in big and especially the cold, it was freezing inside the whole time, Also ran out of power by have a single like on for no more then an hour. Could flush the toilet, no water, no light nothing. The entry way/driveway is absolutes brutal with pot holes a ditches every few feet. It’s a cute place as long as your more open to almost camping then renting a house.

Personal and romantic
This is the perfect stay for simple people who just want to get away and connect to each other. There is a ladder to get to the higher level…. It’s a tree house people, it shouldn’t bother you. My wife and I stayed for 2 days in the early fall and loved every minute of it. Will do it again for sure!

We stayed as a family of four for two nights and used the treehouse as a base to visit nearby Letchworth State Park and further away Watkins Glen State Park. The treehouse is beautiful and really a great experience for our kids. They were so excited and said it was like staying in something from a Ghibli movie. It really is a magical place. The treehouse has electricity, a cooking stove and oven. It has hot water, including a shower. The host was very kind and clear in her communications. We highly recommend!

Unique Experience
The Tree House was an exciting experience that was unlike any other camping trip that we have taken. The cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us and was very clean. My daughter loved the unique bunk beds and I enjoyed the outdoor shower and the deck at the top of the tree house. If you are looking for a rugged camping experience (with a bathroom!), this is the spot for you.

Great get away
Spent a couple days with my sons ages 9 and 3, they loved the treehouse and the surrounding property. The layout of the cabin was perfect for a couple adults and small children. It was a warm week so we were prepared with a battery operated fan to help keep cool at night. Everything else needed was on site. Terrific stay, looking forward to going back next year.

Unique, rustic, fantastic space
Stayed here with some friends recently. The property is amazing. Unique craftsmanship. It’s very secluded and quiet. Highly recommended if you want to feel like you’re camping but still have some basic amenities.
