“Great hotel”
We stayed at this hotel during a trip to Athens. An easy walk to the metro for a cheap (1 euro) trip to the city and a short walk to the port or taxi service. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even stored our luggage for a 4 day trip south. The breakfast and bar in the lobby was very good also. Service was excellent. There is a bar across the street that can be noisy at night but closing the balcony door and the shutters solved the problem
“Proximity to the port”
Clean and well-maintained little hotel within a ten-minute walk to the port.
“Faros 2”
We selected this hotel due to its distance from the port. We walked to the hotel from the port and it wasn't too hard to find. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The AC worked and the bathroom was bigger than other hotels we stayed in in Greece. The neighbor hood looks a little rough, but we only stayed the night.
“Close to Port”
This hotel was clean and nice. Close to the port and was able to walk with backpacks to the cruise terminal. Good for a night before departure but I would not spend more than one night here. The neighborhood is not very nice.
“close to ferries”
Very convenient for ferries- about 5 minutes walk.It was very clean and had a good shower. However, we found it difficult to find good places to eat in the vicinity and would only recommend this as an overnight stay for catching an early ferry. There did not seem to be much to do in Piraeus!!
“Good clean and comfortable hotel”
The hotel was clean and comfortable and we would stay here again. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and we happy to answer any questions we had. Please note that there was building work during the day next to the hotel but as we were sightseeing this did not bother us. The location is a ten minute walk to the Port of Piraeus and we could easily access the ferrys and metro.
“Would certainly use this hotel again.”
The hotel is very good value for money. Piraeus is a fairly grubby/smelly place, but this hotel is well maintained and clean. Stands out as a bit of an oasis in the general area, and is a good choice if you need to spend a couple of nights.
“Great budget hotel”
This is a great budget hotel in Piraeus. An ideal place to stay if you are catching an early morning ferry to the islands. It is situated 2 blocks from the ferry terminals and takes about 10 minutes to walk. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms whilst basic are clean and comfortable. We would definately stay here again when catching an early morning ferry out to the islands.
“Conveniant - Great for a one night stay”
I enjoyed our stay as it was excellent for a one night stay as we were catching the cruise ship the next day. The neighborhood is not bad and as for the hotel I thought it was good - you get what you pay for. Overall, good. The conveniance store around the corner was a great place to buy water and snacks. The musueum is right around the corner. The only complaint is the location. This hotel is very hard to find, especially if you don't speak Greek.
“Cheap and cheerful”
We found this hotel great value, comfortable, safe and staff extremely friendly and helpful, also close to port for ferry's to the islands which was our main priority. Our room was huge - the only problems we had were the beds are very hard and the cafe across the road was quite noisy till the wee hours
