“Très bon rapport qualité prix, emplacement idéal”
Hôtel pas cher, très bien situé à côté des musées, du tramway, dans un environnement calme,résidentiel, proche du centre, hôtel bien tenu, très bon petit déjeuner
“Very Nice Hotel”
A very nice hotel very close to many museums and only a tram ride away from all the main attractions! Hotel staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful would definately return!
“It will be always our option in Amsterdan!!!”
Very good localization, close to downtown, 10 min walk maximun, in a very friedly area. Very close to the Pipe, one block to the Van Gogh Museun and the others. Staff very kind and helpfull. The room is small but has everything you need, clean, confortable, warm and quiet. The stairs are strait, but there's an elevator. From main train station, only one tram to get there! Really worth!
“Quiet area”
This was my second time to Amsterdam, and stayed here both times. Had a nice quiet room, small, but its Europe. Nice upscale location. Staff is great.
“First class room for the price you pay”
I have read all the reviews before booking this hotel. I wanted to be near the museums and this hotel was ideal as only walking distance from everything including trams and buses. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. Great hotel at a cheap price!
“More than I dared hope for”
When looking to book a hotel for a weekend tript to Amsterdam, I was very hesitant; reviews on other sites didn't seem too impressed. But apart from making us hang around for half an hour to check in, from that point on the staff were very helpful and polite, the room (a triple) was clean and comfy, if not very pretty, and it was quiet both inside and out the hotel. Tram route 5 runs just at the bottom of the street, taking you to the city centre, and the Van Gogh and the museum were within 5 minute's walk, as well as a supermarket to buy bits and pieces (cigarettes, travelcards, stamps...). I'd definitely go again.
“Worth and adequate to its price”
perfect place to backpackers, students, etc very clean and quiet, close to main landmarks and stops.. May seem too many beds in small room, so if booked completely - then it is a nighmare, but luckily I had just one mate in 8-bed dorm. Bathroom is the only downside - small and outdated, but all appliances work fine along with hot water)) - what else do you need
“Small, but okay for the price”
This hotel has a great location, right near Museumplein and on several tram lines. There is 24-hour coffee, soft drinks and beer in the lobby (for a price of course). There is indeed wireless internet access in the lobby (fee) and also an internet station if you don't have a laptop. It's a little better than a 1-1/2 star hotel, maybe 2 stars. Complaints were: fixtures, etc were old (but would expect that from an old historic hotel); walls were PAPER-THIN and you couldn't even talk or make a phone call without neighbors hearing everything you say; room was VERY VERY small (couldn't even turn around). If you are going out to see the city and just want a clean, safe place to stay (and use the internet in the lobby) this place is fine. If you are looking for a deluxe room, look elsewhere.
“Good and cheap”
I expected a dive for what I payed but I was comfortable with what I got. The room was dated but clean and comfortable and in a great location, in Mueseumplien and easy walk from the centre of town. Good breakfast available for 5 euros if not already included in your room charge. Only wish they had laundry facilities or something like that for the weary and dirty traveller. Also, there was a TV and radio in my room but neither worked...I didn't enquire as was out sightseeing, but maybe you had to pay extra for that...Good bathroom, hot shower etc, and room serviced daily.
“bon rapport qualité/prix”
chambre un peu petite mais propre. Serviettes fournies. Peut déj 5 euro en plus. Accueil très sympa. Situé juste aux abords de Museumplein
