“Perfect budget hotel”

Really friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, room was basic but comfortable. 10 minute walk to Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk, Concertgebouw, Vondelpark, tram stop. Be warned that the stairs are very steep! I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, particularly if you're coming to Amsterdam to see the art museums.

“Friendly and convenient”

Great location. Small hotel conveniently located in museum district. and close to public transportation. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was quite good. No elevator - stairs were steep and narrow but well lit and not a problem. The steak restaurant just down the street is very well-known and popular - get there early to avoid a long wait at the bar! Would definitely stay here again.

“Steep stairs”

The rooms on the second and third floor are reachable via very steep stairs. It is difficult to bring up the luggage, but the hotel stuff was helping.
