“Nice hotel”

Aalders is a lovely old hotel, very nicely kept and clean, with an elevator! Location is on a quiet, leafy street, very convenient to museums, but it is a bit of a walk to food. I would stay here again.

“Good hotel, good value.”

A nice 'family-owned' hotel that is well placed for Leidseplein and Museum areas and yet in a reasonably quiet area. This hotel is doing a great job of upgrading themselves over the past few years.......I look forward to the matresses being upgraded to meet the rest of the changes (a bit squidgy)

“Tiny rooms and paper-thin walls”

Pros: Hotel is right around the corner of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum; direct bus (197) to the airport; easy access to the city center. Cons: Our room was ridiculously tiny, and the walls were paper-thin, so that we were being entertained by our neighbors' conversations well beyond 2am in the morning. I would not stay there again.
