“hilton”
Very nice bed!!!!! Very nice view. The breakfast a little bit expensive
“Awesome”
Awesome place with great customer service. What I really liked was the staff checking to make sure that I had everything I needed. Right after I checked in, they even brought up some extra soap for my bath.
“Amsterdam Hilton”
Hotel is centrally located either for business or pleasure.Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to all the major attractions. Access to public transportation is a short comfortable walk. A nearby shopping district is within 10 minutes walking distance as well as the Van Gogh and Rijstak Museum. Rooms are comfortable and the staff is very pleasant and helpful.
“Quiet spot to stay”
Loved the Hilton. Staff, food and accommodation excellent!
“Great City, Great Location, Great Breakfast”
Amsterdam is an absolutely beautiful city and this hotel is perfectly located on several tram routes to get to any of the museums, shopping districts or further travel facilities (Airport and Train Station). Staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional in every encounter. Perfect place to stay in near perfect city.
“Nice Hotel, don't be put off by the location”
Arrived early, not a problem, upgraded to Exec room at no extra charge (Hilton Gold Member), room clean and comfortable, Exec lounge superb, the staff couldn't help enough, fourth time I have stayed here, and I will stay again, ignore the location 15 minutes on tram number 5 or 24 and you are in town, the benefit is the silence at night. Overall a 5 star rating well deserved.
“Great Location for Grown-ups”
This fine hotel is situated on a canal in an quiet, upscale residential neighborhood. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas, but multiple tram stops are just a couple blocks away to provide easy and reliable access to all of the things you'll want to do and see.
“Don't worry about the location”
On the first visit I paid for a Taxi from central station, on all subsequent visits I used tram number 5 or 24, at a cost (Sept 2011) of 7 Euro's for a 24 hour ticket, the hotel is well positioned with a really nice rear garden/bar, prices are 5* Hilton, but then that's expected. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and well stocked with toiletries, check-in was prompt and smooth. Breakfast was of a very high quality, coffee made to order, as were waffles etc. from the kitchen. Don't be put off by the location, the trams pass through almost every area a tourist would wish to visit, and it's nice to stay somewhere quiet.
“peaceful hotel stay in Amsterdam”
This hotel seemed geared for meetings, conferences and business and I think is not so typically frequented by tourists. It is situated in a pleasant residential area a short walk from either of two tram stops ( #16 or #24) which take about 20 - 25 minutes to the main train station. However, the long walk into the center of Amsterdam is a wonderful way to become more acquainted with the city. The hotel was very comfortable, and it was a pleasure to look out over the canal in the morning watching the many varieties of bicycles pedaling to their daily destinations. The room was spacious, good quality linens, and spotlessly clean. We would return.
“Great Hotel”
Great hotel, room was of high standard and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also very good. Buy a public transport pass and use the trams which stop down the road (5 or 24).
