Extremely Nice Hotel but a bit far from the city center...
“room mate oscar madrid”
ig good
“one of best hotels for the price”
This is a very nice hotel. Take bus # 195 from Air port (right in front of main entrance) to the IBM (ask driver for directions) Staff is very help full location is perfect in quiet neighborhood. To the center of the city 145 bus is right around the corner, TRAM # 2 and metro station five minutes away price for breakfast is on the high side but shopping center not far away has lot to offer. Have nice time.
“Far from the City Center”
Limited staff, only 1-2 people in the check in counter and no concierge. Very far away from the city center. 45 min by tram, and if you take the tram, walk at least 15 min by foot to the station. Not a convenient location, in the middle of the airport and the city center. Hotel is very nicely maintained, clean and quiet. In a very safe and boring neighborhood, next to IBM. So I guess there's a lot of business travelers. But if you want to stay close to the city center, don't spend your time here. Once you get out and explore the city, don't expect to come back to your hotel and rest up. It takes too long.
“Very Good value for Money”
Clean and excllent Hotel with good service. Ideal for those who do not wish to pay through the nose and stay in City Crowd. A very very convenient Tram Service ( No. 2) takes you to all imp parts of city in 30 Minutes. In fact the canal tour and and imp museums are also on the route and you can reach in 20 minutes. do not expect any food neraby hotel and also avoid paying for breakfast here. The tram stop is just 5-6 minutes walking distance. Do purchase GVB unlimited Travel Pass ( which you can also use to go to Airport by Route No, 192, two minute walking distance from hotel ) which is a great and very economical way of going around Amsterdam. Internet is free and Service is patchy. There were two guys at reception at the time of check-in who were great and very very helpful. but we also had a few reception people who were rude,,,one expressed surprise abt why we require so much of sugar for our coffee. Please do not bother abt our health...do your job and give a few more sugar sachets if the guest wants. Overall happy with standard of room at the price you pay.
“Reasonable price, clean rooms, new building”
If you want to stay near airport, and don't want pay much then book over the net. Rooms are nice and clean, quite neighbourhood. But car park isn't free and taxi to the city will cost a little more than you expect.
“Nice Ambience”
Took a bus directly from the airport to a stop just 3 minutes from the hotel. Check in and out was easy. The art displayed in the lobby and throughout the hotel was very unique. We just walked a block or two down the street to catch the tram that accessed all areas of the downtown core. Public transport was great and the surrounding area was very clean and felt safe.
“I wish I could live there!”
Our stay was fantastic! It is a little out of the way to find at first (we took the wrong bus) but it was well worth the hike. The staff were friendly and helpful and the accomidations were unbeatable for the price!
“Great option if you work near the hotel”
This isn't a hotel for tourists. City center is only a 30 minute tram/bus ride away, but there are better options if you plan on sight-seeing. This is a great hotel if you're in Amsterdam for work and your office is in the commercial park surrounding the hotel. The only option for food is the hotel restaurant. The nearest market is about 1-2 km away - a healthy distance if you need to run minor errands or pick up a some snacks. The hotel staff is great. Very polite and professional. The restaurant food is very good, but too pricey for me to eat at for every meal! I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in that area for work.
“Completely worth the tram ride”
Though this hotel wasn't in city center, it was amazing. It only took ten minutes by tram to get to all the attractions. It was clean, the people were friendly, it was QUIET, and the surrounding neighborhood was immaculate and felt very safe. I would absolutely stay there again, no question!
