It was great that there was a kitchen for our family of five. This way we could have breakfast and dinner if we wanted to without the added expense of always going out. The nearby supermarket was conveniently located and had most of what we needed. Uber Eats for groceries and meals was also cheap and easy. Only complaints were about the mattress toppers sliding around and the weird square pillows on the bed.

Excellent family stay
I've just returned from 3 nights at Cityden Bolo District. I was there with my wife and 3 children under 10. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment XL. Apartment was spacious and beds were large and comfortable (large double, 2 singles and a double sofa bed). The XL apartment also had 2 great showers! There's a tram and bus stop very close to the hotel (Bos en Lommerplein) which is 15 minutes from the city centre on tram 7. The hotel is also only one bus stop away from Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station so it's easy to get back to the airport (train is about 15 minutes) and other connections. The apartment had a dishwasher and a nespresso coffee machine. There are several supermarkets nearby for supplies. We had an enjoyable family stay and would absolutely stay again.
