"Great location in the historic area of Salzburg. Just a few minutes walk to main attractions for culture, shopping and dining. We stayed in two different rooms as we extended our stay by one night. Typical of European accommodation- somewhat smaller than North American rooms. Breakfast - not included - was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"This is one of the best hotels anywhere. The location is gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and capable. Every single interaction with all of them over a 3-day stay was pleasant and positive. The breakfast is outstanding and the views are stunning. The room is large, comfortable, and clean. There is nothing that needs to be improved…this place is perfect . My only regret is that I didn’t book a longer stay. LOVE this hotel and absolutely recommend it! A jewel of the Bayern region and a working model of German precision and attention to detail. Stay here or you will truly have missed out."
