"Mixed weather to start with. The land needed it badly! Took a trip back to Lisbon oceanarium on a wetter day and an evening trip to the Roman baths in Evora. Beautiful drive through the cork trees. It is a glorious calm, clean, comfortable home with a fantastic swimming pool for teens and adults alike. I would be cautious with young children. "This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. "No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

Marina hat sich sofort gekümmert, wenn etwas fehlte und super schnell per sms geantwortet. Es leben drei Katzen auf dem Gelände, die sehr süß sind, einen aber auch aufdringlich anbetteln. "We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. Everything was provided as stated and it was comfortable and very clean. The area is very quiet, there is a small local shop that provides essentials and there are lots of local walks full of wildlife if you don't want to drive. It is a short drive from two towns where there are shops and restaurants and close to plenty of beautiful coastal areas to explore. "
