"Wonderful stay at Glenlo Abbey! The grounds and hotel are beautiful. We were upgraded to a one bedroom Lodge room. Access to the living room, kitchen and laundry were a bonus. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff here are wonderful, friendly, informative and attentive. The Palmer restaurant is very nice and the food delicious. A ride into the city center of Galway was about ten minutes. We couldn’t have had a better stay. "

"It's a fabulous place in a beautiful setting. The food in their restaurant is great and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The only reason I gave less than five stars on property condition is because the rooms don't have temperature controls or even fans to move air.
