"The road was long and windy to get there, but the welcome and beauty of the place vastly made up for it! The property is less than 30 minutes from the center of Santiago, located in a green valley. The main house dates from the early 18th century, with thick granite walls, and has been wonderfully restored with all modern comfort (including good wifi!). "Used this hotel as a base for exploring Santiago. We had a car so the few minutes drive into town was no problem with lots of free on site parking at the hotel. Parking in Santiago itself is tricky but we found an excellent place called Parking Municipal Belvis just a short ten minute walk to the historic centre. Hotel itself was big, clean and with spacious rooms. Just the job. We were on a touring holiday so if you're not in a car then probably not for you as not walking distance into Santiago...
