"The sheer atmosphere of the Parador is truly amazing: the corridors filled with furniture, the vaulted central crossing, the grand staircase. It feels as if you’ve gone through a portal to the past. The breakfast offerings are extensive. We had lunch at Dos Reis, which in an equally remarkable setting with the barrel vaulted ceiling. It was a very big nice meal. The Parador is in the most ideal location. To walk out the door into the main square is magical. "

"The check in process was easy and the front desk was able to answer any questions I had. Luis at the bar had suggestions for dining in the area and educated us on Galician language qualities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would recommend a suite if you are staying more than a couple of days. "
