"This is a reasonably-priced apartment for a family with dogs. The owner is very friendly and the accommodations themselves are old-fashioned but revamped and cute, close to the beach and boardwalk. Just wished it was a tich cleaner."

"You are not allowed to control the thermostat in the room. We were told the entire hotel is on one system and the thermostat is locked. You cannot switch between AC and Heat. You can lower and raise the temp in the room, but it didn’t work in ours. Room got as hot as 80 in the middle of the night. "

"The Sea Gypsy is an absolute oasis from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk (and yet extremely close to it when that's what you want.) There are not enough stars to rate the charm of the place. We were in the DH Lawrence suite and it came with its own guard-cat, Romeo. ;-) The whole experience there was a vacation unto itself."
