"We were upgraded at no cost from a family room for three to a one bedroom apartment with a loft. What a treat after hiking the Kaiser Krone circuit. Great location across from the train station. Built in 1885 with an obvious sense of pride and remodeled with modern amenities. Friendly staff. Great value."

"This hotel was in a great location. Close to the lake and boat service. Also within walking distance to a grocery store. The food (dinner) was AMAZING. Highly recommend making dinner reservations there. Breakfast was a typical german breakfast which also was good. The staff was nice and the hotel was well run. "It's a charming hotel in an equally charming ski village. We traveled off season so it was very quiet. We had the Snow White room which we were very happy with. It was spacious and comfortable. "This is a wonderful hotel near the center of Alpbach. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious with fresh and quality selections including eggs cooked to order. On-site parking. There is a well stocked honor bar on the lower level. The free city pass which allows you to take a free the bus to the local ski mountain for a ride to the top is a nice benefit. Lastly, if you stay here you will get a chance to meet one of the treasures of Alpbach, Gitte (Brigitte)....

"staff were very nice and the stay was pleasent. there is not a lot in the area but as we only stayed one night that didnt matter. although the menu was limited on the night we stayed, which was a monday, the food was still very nice. we sat on the veranda next to the bar, had a few drinks and looked at the spectacular views. the room and hotel in general were very clean."
