"Located in a picturesque part of town on the seafront, well away from the cruise ship port. Very convenient for local restaurants and amenities, all within easy walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean, beds very comfortable. If we have a criticism it is that the curtains and not black outs, so the midnight sun in June is disruptive to a good nights sleep. The restaurant is excellent, something we`ve noted at all the Thon restaurants we`ve stayed in."

"This is a beautiful, modern building that in my opinion goes well with the surrounding area of enormous natural beauty. We were lucky to get a room in a high floor with akazing views of the water and mountain range. The room itself was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The breakfast had a wide selection of quality food. We used the paid parking conveniently located behind the main hotel building."

When I mentioned we were going to Stryn, the front desk associate suggested us to take ferry to Leknes and drive through the valley (including Oye) instead of driving through Volda city center. Maten var veldig god, dog en veldig begrenset meny. Prisen var ikke så hyggelig. 440 kr fastpris for hovedrett, og det var ikke særlig dyre råvarer. Obs! Det fremstilles som hotellet har et basseng på hotels-appen, men det er altså i et annet bygg og annen drift. Man må da betale over 100 kr for å benytte bassenget. Dette var skuffende....
