Me and my family have stayed at this resort multiple times over the last decade plus. This recent trip was a little underwhelming when it came to the room cleanliness where the floors were left gritty and sandy and the drinks and snacks were not re-stocked as they usually are. And many weddings were scheduled this week making the normal entertainment venues relocate to sub-optimal locations in the resort. Other than that, all other aspects of the stay were 5 star as usual.

Zoetry is the perfect resort to stay at while visiting Los Cabos. It’s small and therefore it has less people, less noise and less stress. It’s perfectly positioned midway between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose. The room was top notch, the service impeccable and dollar for dollar perhaps the best deal in the area.

I had high expectations for the hotel. Upon arrival it was a beautiful looking hotel. After checking in we were greeted by our concierge Oswaldo who said he would make out dinner reservations for the night but in actuality he was trying to sell us a time share. When he knew were we not interested and just wanted to start out vacations he was visibly annoyed. After getting settled in our “Ocean view” room we quickly realized it wasn’t Ocean view at all. We decided that wasn’t a deal breaker so we got ready for dinner and upon arrival we were told that they didn’t have a reservation for us. Our lovely concierge must have either canceled or is make one to begin with. Not impressed The pool closes at 8 and with a lack of entertainment that is a little disappointing to say the least. Breakfast was good and the Italian restaurant was good as well. I will not be returning or recommending this hotel.
