« Being our first experience lodging on a house boat, we felt as though we were staying in luxury. Unexpectedly, the boat was fully equipped with everything. The owner has it tastefully decorated, neat and very clean. Good location and within walking of a couple popular bar/restaurant eateries, although many around the city (college town). The welcome notebook inside the boat explains everything, with contact information. We fished each day off the boat using our own gear, unfortunately, not...

« It was a fun experience for 3 folks in their 70s. Not crazy about marine toilets but just steps away was a very clean bathroom and shower that was so accessible at the marina. It was fun catching fish off the front of the boat. The view was amazing. Coffee in the morning and bloody Mary's on the back deck in the evening were pretty great. The people at the marina were so friendly and Sharon was a good host.We laughed so much and will cherish our boat memories on the B-happy »

« This was a unique opportunity for us and something we will definitely do again! The Marina was very quiet (we stayed Sunday through Thursday). It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the birds during the day and other wildlife (American Mink!) in the harbor at night. It was our first vacation in many years and being on the Irish Mist really took us away from our usual patterns.
Everything was clean and the separate "rooms" gave us the ability to stay organized and make our own meals...
