« Being our first experience lodging on a house boat, we felt as though we were staying in luxury. Unexpectedly, the boat was fully equipped with everything. The owner has it tastefully decorated, neat and very clean. Good location and within walking of a couple popular bar/restaurant eateries, although many around the city (college town). « The location to downtown was great for walking and putting in our kayaks. The view of Superior was gorgeous. It would have been good to know ahead of time that the preferred restrooms to use were the ones in the marina - they were fine, but knowing ahead of time would have been good. Sharon was very prompt in all communications and easy to work with. »

« This was a unique opportunity for us and something we will definitely do again! The Marina was very quiet (we stayed Sunday through Thursday). It was nice to sit outside and relax and watch the birds during the day and other wildlife (American Mink!) in the harbor at night. It was our first vacation in many years and being on the Irish Mist really took us away from our usual patterns. Everything was clean and the separate "rooms" gave us the ability to stay organized and make our own meals...
