« This house was a beautiful place to stay as we dropped our daughter off at App State. You feel like you’re miles away in the country and yet only 5 min to downtown Boone and all the amenities you need. Views were gorgeous, house was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed! « we really liked the privacy of the cabin we only saw 1 person our entire time at the property we also liked the overall appearance of the cabin I also enjoyed the firepit the only negative was the power was out all day and night in banner elk so we lost our dinner reservation for Saturday night but you can't control mother nature »

« We enjoyed our stay at the Starry Nights Lodge. The firepit was particularly amazing and it was a nice getaway for our family. The grill did appear to not be working, but this did not put a damper on our trip. »

« We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the back deck enjoying the woods and the sound of the stream below, as well as some cozy nights by the fireplace reading. Check-in was super easy, as was communication with the renters during our stay. We were only a 15 minute drive to downtown Boone, but the cabin felt like you were kind of away from it all so we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods. We would absolutely stay here...

« We had a great time and the location is terrific for everything we wanted to see and do - Blowing Rock, horse show, Grandfather Mountain and Valle Crucis. The floor plan was great for the adults downstairs and the kids upstairs. The interior was in good shape and well equipped, but the exterior of the house and the grounds needed much attention - gutters filled with debris, shrubs need pruning, decking was dirty & much in need of paint or stain, along with the window trim - may not bother some...
